Installation and setup

Install this light on a horizontal mounting surface at the bow where the red and green sectors are not blocked by rails, anchors, trolling motors, covers, or other hardware. Because navigation lights depend on correct placement as much as the fixture itself, the mounting location should preserve the required visibility angles for the vessel.

The light is sized for #8 mounting screws and should be wired into a protected 12 volt navigation light circuit. As with any deck-mounted electrical fitting, seal the wire pass-through and fastener holes carefully to limit water intrusion into the deck core or mounting surface.
