Overview

The Raymarine T70293 is an RMK-10 wired remote keypad for controlling compatible Raymarine chartplotters and multifunction displays from a helm position, overhead electronics box, or another station where the display is not easy to reach. It gives the operator physical keys, a rotary controller, and an integrated cursor pad, which is useful when touch control is awkward in rain, spray, cold weather, or while the boat is moving.

This keypad can be powered through PoE at 48 V DC or by alternate 12 / 24 V DC power, with an alternate operating range of 9 V to 32 V DC. Power consumption is up to 4 W with full keypad illumination, and the housing carries IPx6 and IPx7 waterproof ratings for exposed helm and cockpit installations.

Connection is handled through RayNet Ethernet networking, with one RayNet 10/100 Mb/s connector and a separate SeaTalkng-style power connector for alternate power. The unit can be surface mounted or flush mounted, and it includes both landscape and portrait keypad mats so the control layout can match the available panel space.

Key features
  • Wired RMK-10 keypad for remote control of Raymarine Axiom chartplotters and compatible Raymarine multifunction display systems.
  • Fully backlit keys for home, menu, zoom, window control, waypoint management, power, brightness, and Evolution autopilot control.
  • Rotary controller with an integrated cursor pad gives precise menu and chart control without relying only on a touchscreen.
  • RayNet Ethernet connection supports control of one display or multiple displays mounted at the same helm location.
  • PoE Class 1 support, with 48 V DC PoE input or 12 / 24 V DC alternate power for flexible system wiring.
  • Operating range of 44 V to 57 V DC on PoE power and 9 V to 32 V DC on alternate power.
  • IPx6 and IPx7 waterproof ratings suit installations where the keypad may see spray, washdowns, or an open helm environment.
  • Surface or flush mounting gives the installer options for console panels, overhead boxes, helm seats, and secondary stations.
  • Landscape and portrait keypad mats are included so the same unit can be fitted horizontally or vertically.
Installation and setup

The RMK-10 works well where the display is mounted beyond arm’s reach, such as an overhead electronics pod, a wide dash, a flybridge console, or a protected navigation station below deck. The wired connection keeps control consistent and avoids the battery management concerns of a handheld remote.

For a clean installation, plan the mounting position around cable routing, panel thickness, reach from the helm seat, and how the landscape or portrait keypad mat will be read in normal use. Flush mounting gives the panel a low-profile look, while surface mounting can be useful where cutting the console is not practical.

Electrical and network integration

The keypad connects into the Raymarine system through RayNet Ethernet. When used with multiple displays at the same station, it can move control across the display group, which is helpful on larger helms with separate chart, radar, sonar, or camera screens.

Power can be supplied through PoE when the network hardware supports it, or through the separate alternate power connection on 12 V or 24 V DC systems. The 9 V to 32 V DC alternate power range gives installers room for normal voltage variation on small and mid-size marine electrical systems.

Use cases on board

This keypad is a practical match for cruising boats, offshore fishing boats, sailboats, and larger helm layouts where the main display is not always within comfortable reach. It is also useful when the crew wants physical control during wet conditions, rough water, or night operation, since the backlit keys and rotary controller are easier to use by feel than a touchscreen alone.

Shipping
We ship worldwide from the United States. Rates are calculated at checkout based on destination and package weight. Some items include free shipping, which will show automatically. Not every product is eligible for international shipping; checkout will confirm eligibility. We do not ship to PO Boxes except through USPS, and not all packages qualify.

Processing and dispatch
Most orders are verified, packed, and handed to the carrier within 1 to 2 business days. Some products may need extra handling time or ship directly from the manufacturer. For certain international orders, inventory transfers between warehouses may add time. If any delay is expected, we will let you know the dispatch date.

Delivery and tracking
Deliveries are handled by trusted carriers such as USPS, UPS, FedEx, and DHL. Estimated arrival times appear at checkout and depend on your location and the service you choose. These are estimates and can be affected by customs or carrier disruptions. A shipping confirmation with a tracking link is emailed when your order ships, and tracking may take up to 24 hours to update. You can also view tracking in your account.

Duties, taxes, and support
International customers are responsible for any customs duties, taxes, and fees charged by the destination country. If these charges are refused and a shipment returns to us, the carrier’s return cost and any re-entry customs fees will be deducted from the refund. If your order is late or you need help, contact cs@qualityboatparts.com and we will assist you.

Quality Boat Parts is a reseller. Many items include a manufacturer’s warranty, and all warranty service is handled directly by the manufacturer. We do not manage or administer warranty claims on behalf of customers.

Warranty terms, coverage, and duration are set by each manufacturer. Issues involving defects, repairs, or replacements must be addressed with the manufacturer’s support team. When available, the warranty period is listed on the product page. If it is not shown, contact us or the manufacturer for details before purchasing.

To start a claim, the customer must contact the manufacturer and follow their process. Keep your proof of purchase and original packaging, and register the product if the manufacturer requires it, as these are often needed for warranty service.

We are happy to help you find the right contact or documentation, but we cannot decide outcomes or intervene in claim resolutions. For guidance, email cs@qualityboatparts.com.
