Overview

The Simrad 000-12366-001 is a flush-mount gasket kit for installing a 7-inch Simrad GO7 or B&G Vulcan 7 display directly into a helm panel.

The gasket sits between the display bezel and the dashboard cutout to help close up the gap around the opening, which is where spray and washdowns usually find their way in. This version is supplied without a sun cover.

It makes sense for helm refits and new builds where you want the screen kept close to the console surface, with fewer edges to catch lines, jackets, or feet moving around the cockpit.

Compatibility and fit

Fits the Simrad GO7 and B&G Vulcan 7 models. Confirm the exact model name on the back label of your display before ordering, since similarly named units can use different dash-mount parts.

This is a mounting accessory only. It does not change power, networking, or transducer connections on the display.

Installation and setup

Flush mounting is typically done using the panel-mount template and mounting hardware intended for your display. The gasket goes on the console side, between the dash surface and the display bezel, before the unit is clamped in place from behind.

For a clean install on a boat, take time to square the cutout, remove sharp edges, and dry-fit the display so the bezel sits flat. Tighten the mounting clamps evenly so the gasket compresses consistently around the opening.
