Overview
The Hella Marine 3562 is a bi-color navigation lamp that combines port (red) and starboard (green) in one bow light, with 1 nautical mile visibility on 12V systems. It uses an included 12V/10W SV8.5 bulb and is rated IP54. The compact body measures 75 x 63 x 53 mm and mounts to a vertical surface.
Cable entry is through the base plate with a rubber grommet, which helps protect the wire where it passes through the mounting surface. The housing and lens are UV- and impact-resistant plastic, and the fixture is non-magnetic. Approvals include IMO Col Reg 72, USCG, ABYC A-16, and Maritime NZ.
This 1 NM combined bow light format is commonly used on vessels up to 12 m (39.4 ft) that need a straightforward incandescent nav light and want a compact fitting on the foredeck or bow area.

Installation and setup
Mount the lamp on a solid vertical surface at the bow where it has an unobstructed view to port and starboard. Keep it clear of rails, anchor gear, and bow rollers that can block the red or green sector when you are underway.
Route the supply wiring through the base plate and grommet, then seal any deck penetrations as needed for your mounting location. Connect it to a switched navigation-light circuit with wiring and overcurrent protection sized for the lamp load and your boat’s standards.
Maintenance and bulb replacement
Rinse salt and grime off the lens so the color sectors stay crisp at night. The snap-lock housing makes it simple to access the bulb for replacement, which is helpful when you need to service the light at the dock without digging for tools.

Quality Boat Parts is a reseller. Many items include a manufacturer’s warranty, and all warranty service is handled directly by the manufacturer. We do not manage or administer warranty claims on behalf of customers.
Warranty terms, coverage, and duration are set by each manufacturer. Issues involving defects, repairs, or replacements must be addressed with the manufacturer’s support team. When available, the warranty period is listed on the product page. If it is not shown, contact us or the manufacturer for details before purchasing.
To start a claim, the customer must contact the manufacturer and follow their process. Keep your proof of purchase and original packaging, and register the product if the manufacturer requires it, as these are often needed for warranty service.
