Overview
The Lumitec Fiji Courtesy Light is a 4-pack of surface-mount RGBW courtesy lights for 10-16 VDC boat systems. Each light uses a 2-wire hookup and must be connected to a Lumitec Poco control module for full color and dimming control.
The housing is sealed to an IP67 rating for locations that get spray and routine washdowns, and the face has no exposed fasteners. Output is up to 26 lumens per light with a 5000K white channel, plus RGBW mixing for steps, toe-kicks, cockpits, and cabin walkways.
This is a good match for boats already using Poco, or for new builds where you want consistent color control and clean wiring runs to multiple courtesy lights.
Key features
- Pack of four RGBW courtesy lights for 10-16 VDC systems
- IP67 sealed for wet areas such as steps, cockpits, and companionways
- 2-wire connection and PLI-enabled control through a Lumitec Poco module (module required)
- Choice of direct or indirect beam pattern to suit walkways, compartments, or softer step lighting
- Up to 26 lumens per light with a 5000K white channel and CRI 70+
- Low current draw at 12V (33 mA per light) for always-ready courtesy lighting
- Rated operating temperature range from -31 F (-35 C) to 131 F (55 C)
Variants
Fiji is offered with three finish choices: Black Stainless Steel, Polished Stainless Steel, and White Stainless Steel. It also comes in two beam patterns: direct and indirect.
The direct beam puts more light onto the area in front of the fixture for walkways and compartments. The indirect beam throws a softer light downward, which works well on stairs and as accent lighting. RGBW output, 10-16 VDC operation, IP67 sealing, and Poco control requirements remain consistent across the range.
Installation and setup
The Fiji body can be surface mounted, or mounted using a wire thru-hole. Plan a small pass-through for the cable, drill pilot holes for the supplied #4 screws, and seal any penetrations in cored panels to help prevent water intrusion.
Wiring is straightforward: connect the black lead to the same negative/ground common as the Poco system and connect the red lead to a Poco output. Once connected to Poco, color changes and dimming are handled through the control system rather than by toggling power at the switch.
Compatibility and fit
Designed for 10-16 VDC boats where you want full-color courtesy lighting in compact mounting locations. Common placements include companionway steps, cockpit sidewalls, under-gunwale lighting, helm footwells, and cabin transitions. Leave a little service loop in the wiring so the light can be removed later without stressing the leads in a vibrating environment.
What's included
- Four Fiji courtesy lights (RGBW)
- Plastic mounting bases
- #4 mounting screws
On-board use
On center consoles and sportfishers, the direct beam version fits well in under-gunwale walkways and storage areas where you want more usable light. On cruisers and sailboats, the indirect beam works well for companionway steps and cabin pathways where you want guidance light with less glare.
This light is a practical fit for owners who want RGBW courtesy lighting tied into a Poco system, with a simple two-wire run to each fixture and consistent color control throughout the boat.

Quality Boat Parts is a reseller. Many items include a manufacturer’s warranty, and all warranty service is handled directly by the manufacturer. We do not manage or administer warranty claims on behalf of customers.
Warranty terms, coverage, and duration are set by each manufacturer. Issues involving defects, repairs, or replacements must be addressed with the manufacturer’s support team. When available, the warranty period is listed on the product page. If it is not shown, contact us or the manufacturer for details before purchasing.
To start a claim, the customer must contact the manufacturer and follow their process. Keep your proof of purchase and original packaging, and register the product if the manufacturer requires it, as these are often needed for warranty service.
