Overview

The Garmin 010-02683-01 is a 7 inch touchscreen chartplotter and fishfinder combo that comes with a GT54-TM transducer and a built-in worldwide basemap. The WVGA display runs 800 x 480 pixels and uses touchscreen control with keyed assist for quick inputs at the helm. It runs on 9 to 18 Vdc power and carries an IPX7 water rating for incidental spray and washdowns.

With the included transducer, you can use traditional sonar plus ClearVü and SideVü scanning views to separate fish from structure and see what is happening off to the sides. Mapping support covers Garmin Navionics+ and Garmin Navionics Vision+ cartography, along with BlueChart g3 coastal charts and LakeVü g3 inland maps.

Built-in Wi-Fi and multi-band GPS round out the day-to-day features, and NMEA 2000 compatibility keeps the door open for connecting and viewing more onboard data on the same screen.

What’s included

Installation and mounting

You can plan for either a bracket style install using the included tilt and swivel mount or a flush mount at the console. For space planning, the unit with cradle is 218 x 142 x 81 mm, and the bail mount with sun cover measures 261 x 166 x 99 mm.

Leave room for cable bends and service access behind the dash. A clearance of 118 mm behind the chartplotter is a good target when laying out the mounting surface and cable routing.

Electrical and system integration

Power input is 9 to 18 Vdc with a 3 A fast-acting fuse included. Typical current draw is about 1.52 A at 12 Vdc, with peak draw up to 3.2 A at 12 Vdc, which helps when sizing wiring and a breaker for the electronics bus.

On 12 V boats, it can be wired directly to a switched circuit. On 24 V boats, it needs a regulated step-down supply to stay within the 18 V maximum input.

Networking and mobile features

NMEA 2000 compatibility lets the display share and show data from other compatible onboard gear on one screen, such as compatible autopilots, digital switching, and audio systems. Built-in Wi-Fi supports pairing with the ActiveCaptain app for OneChart features, software updates, and other connected functions.

If you run more than one compatible ECHOMAP UHD2 display, wireless sharing can keep key items like waypoints, routes, and sonar data consistent across stations.

On-board use cases

This setup fits boats where dash space is limited but you still want charting and scanning sonar in one display, such as bay boats, center consoles, aluminum fishing rigs, and smaller cruisers. It also makes sense for anglers who want SideVü and ClearVü views without moving up to a larger screen size.

Maintenance and care

Use the protective cover when the boat is stored or trailered, and rinse salt spray off the case and connectors with fresh water after runs. Keep software current through the app or your preferred update method so features and compatibility stay up to date.

Shipping
We ship worldwide from the United States. Rates are calculated at checkout based on destination and package weight. Some items include free shipping, which will show automatically. Not every product is eligible for international shipping; checkout will confirm eligibility. We do not ship to PO Boxes except through USPS, and not all packages qualify.

Processing and dispatch
Most orders are verified, packed, and handed to the carrier within 1 to 2 business days. Some products may need extra handling time or ship directly from the manufacturer. For certain international orders, inventory transfers between warehouses may add time. If any delay is expected, we will let you know the dispatch date.

Delivery and tracking
Deliveries are handled by trusted carriers such as USPS, UPS, FedEx, and DHL. Estimated arrival times appear at checkout and depend on your location and the service you choose. These are estimates and can be affected by customs or carrier disruptions. A shipping confirmation with a tracking link is emailed when your order ships, and tracking may take up to 24 hours to update. You can also view tracking in your account.

Duties, taxes, and support
International customers are responsible for any customs duties, taxes, and fees charged by the destination country. If these charges are refused and a shipment returns to us, the carrier’s return cost and any re-entry customs fees will be deducted from the refund. If your order is late or you need help, contact cs@qualityboatparts.com and we will assist you.

Quality Boat Parts is a reseller. Many items include a manufacturer’s warranty, and all warranty service is handled directly by the manufacturer. We do not manage or administer warranty claims on behalf of customers.

Warranty terms, coverage, and duration are set by each manufacturer. Issues involving defects, repairs, or replacements must be addressed with the manufacturer’s support team. When available, the warranty period is listed on the product page. If it is not shown, contact us or the manufacturer for details before purchasing.

To start a claim, the customer must contact the manufacturer and follow their process. Keep your proof of purchase and original packaging, and register the product if the manufacturer requires it, as these are often needed for warranty service.

We are happy to help you find the right contact or documentation, but we cannot decide outcomes or intervene in claim resolutions. For guidance, email cs@qualityboatparts.com.
