Overview
The Lumitec Scallop Pathway Light is a dock and walkway light built to wash the walking surface with 80 lumens while keeping glare down. It runs on 10-30V DC and draws 5W, so it fits common 12V and 24V onboard systems without needing a separate driver.
The housing is water-sealed to IP67 for rain, spray, and washdowns around docks, pilings, and exposed steps. Control support includes PLI (Poco Digital Lighting Control) and TTP (Timed Toggled Protocol), making it a good fit when you are tying pathway lighting into a coordinated dock-lighting setup.
Key features
- 10-30V DC input for typical 12V and 24V installations
- 5W draw with 80 lumen output for pathway and step lighting where you want usable light without harsh brightness
- IP67 water-sealed construction for exposed dockside mounting and routine washdowns
- Light output options across the range include Warm White, RGBW, and RGBW with Warm White
- PLI (Poco Digital Lighting Control) and TTP (Timed Toggled Protocol) enabled for integration into compatible lighting controls
- Offered in bronze finish or a hand-polished 316 stainless steel finish to match surrounding hardware and trim
- Can be added to a Mantis dock light kit or incorporated into a Kraken dock light system
Variants
The Scallop Pathway Light is offered in multiple configurations to match both the look of your dock hardware and the type of light you want on the walking surface.
Across the range, the options vary by exterior finish (bronze or stainless steel) and by light color output (Warm White, RGBW, or RGBW with Warm White).
Electrical and system integration
Plan the circuit as a low-voltage DC load within a 10-30V system and protect it with the appropriate fuse or breaker for the run. If you are using lighting control, confirm your controller and wiring plan support PLI and TTP so the light behaves the way you expect in groups, scenes, or timed toggles.
For dock projects that already use Lumitec dock-lighting platforms, the light can be added into a Mantis kit or incorporated into a Kraken system so pathway illumination and dock lighting can be managed together.
Installation and placement
Mount the light where it can throw light onto the deck, dock surface, or steps without shining directly into eye level. Keep all penetrations sealed and strain-relieve wiring so vibration, movement, and routine washdowns do not work connections loose over time.
This style of light is commonly used along dock edges, on walkway transitions, and near gates or steps where you want clear footing after dark.
Materials and corrosion care
The finish options let you match common marine hardware: a hand-polished 316 stainless steel finish or bronze. In saltwater environments, a quick rinse after heavy spray or cleaning chemicals helps the finish stay looking right, and non-abrasive cleaners help avoid dulling polished surfaces.
Use cases on board
This light suits owners setting up defined walkway lighting on docks, boarding areas, or step zones where IP67 sealing matters. It also fits installations where you want a simple Warm White path light or a color-capable option for signaling or ambiance through compatible controls.
Shipping
We ship worldwide from the United States. Rates are calculated at checkout based on destination and package weight. Some items include free shipping, which will show automatically. Not every product is eligible for international shipping; checkout will confirm eligibility. We do not ship to PO Boxes except through USPS, and not all packages qualify.
Processing and dispatch
Most orders are verified, packed, and handed to the carrier within 1 to 2 business days. Some products may need extra handling time or ship directly from the manufacturer. For certain international orders, inventory transfers between warehouses may add time. If any delay is expected, we will let you know the dispatch date.
Delivery and tracking
Deliveries are handled by trusted carriers such as USPS, UPS, FedEx, and DHL. Estimated arrival times appear at checkout and depend on your location and the service you choose. These are estimates and can be affected by customs or carrier disruptions. A shipping confirmation with a tracking link is emailed when your order ships, and tracking may take up to 24 hours to update. You can also view tracking in your account.
Duties, taxes, and support
International customers are responsible for any customs duties, taxes, and fees charged by the destination country. If these charges are refused and a shipment returns to us, the carrier’s return cost and any re-entry customs fees will be deducted from the refund. If your order is late or you need help, contact cs@qualityboatparts.com and we will assist you.
Quality Boat Parts is a reseller. Many items include a manufacturer’s warranty, and all warranty service is handled directly by the manufacturer. We do not manage or administer warranty claims on behalf of customers.
Warranty terms, coverage, and duration are set by each manufacturer. Issues involving defects, repairs, or replacements must be addressed with the manufacturer’s support team. When available, the warranty period is listed on the product page. If it is not shown, contact us or the manufacturer for details before purchasing.
To start a claim, the customer must contact the manufacturer and follow their process. Keep your proof of purchase and original packaging, and register the product if the manufacturer requires it, as these are often needed for warranty service.
We are happy to help you find the right contact or documentation, but we cannot decide outcomes or intervene in claim resolutions. For guidance, email cs@qualityboatparts.com.
