Overview
The Perko 1059P00DP is a rectangular 2-pin plug-in base for compatible 3/4 inch all-round pole lights. It fits Perko 1343, 1348, 1400, 1451, and 1470 Series pole lights, uses pigtail leads for wiring, and has a 16° pole rake with a base size of 3-3/4 inch x 1-5/8 inch.
This base is used where a removable all-round light pole needs a secure deck connection and a clean, low-profile mounting point when the pole is out. The housing combines chrome plated zinc with a black polymer base, which makes it a sensible replacement when an older socket is worn, loose, or no longer making reliable contact.
For boats already set up around this Perko plug-in system, the main fit points are the 2-pin connection, the 3/4 inch pole size with locking collar, and the rectangular mounting footprint. Matching those details matters more than appearance when you are replacing only the base and keeping the existing pole light.

- Chrome plated zinc body with a black polymer base
- Mounts on a horizontal surface with #8 screws
Compatibility and fit
This base is a match for Perko plug-in all-round pole light setups in the supported series, not a universal socket for every removable navigation light. The pole must use the same 2-pin arrangement and locking collar style, and the mounting location needs to suit the rectangular base and 16° rake.
It works well on boats where the all-round light is removed for storage, trailering, or to keep the cockpit and aft deck clear when the light is not needed. That makes it a common replacement part for small powerboats, fishing boats, and other setups that use a removable stern or all-round pole light.
Installation and setup
The base is meant to be mounted on a horizontal surface. Installation calls for #8 mounting screws and a clearance hole for the socket, using either a 1-3/8 inch hole dressed to fit or a 1-7/16 inch hole.
When fitting the pole, line up the alignment screw on the pole with the notch in the base, push the pole down until the electrical contacts engage, then rotate the locking collar clockwise to secure it. If you are replacing an older base, checking the pole fit and connector style before drilling saves time and avoids mismatch at the deck.
Materials and on-board use
The mix of chrome plated zinc and black polymer suits exposed mounting spots where spray, sun, and routine washdowns are part of normal use. For owners replacing a corroded socket or a base that no longer holds the pole tightly, this is the right kind of part when the existing light belongs to one of the listed Perko series and the boat already uses the same plug-in format.

Quality Boat Parts is a reseller. Many items include a manufacturer’s warranty, and all warranty service is handled directly by the manufacturer. We do not manage or administer warranty claims on behalf of customers.
Warranty terms, coverage, and duration are set by each manufacturer. Issues involving defects, repairs, or replacements must be addressed with the manufacturer’s support team. When available, the warranty period is listed on the product page. If it is not shown, contact us or the manufacturer for details before purchasing.
To start a claim, the customer must contact the manufacturer and follow their process. Keep your proof of purchase and original packaging, and register the product if the manufacturer requires it, as these are often needed for warranty service.
