Overview
The Raymarine Axiom 2 Pro S is a chartplotter and fishfinder range for helm stations that need navigation, sonar, radar, autopilot, video, and system control from one multifunction display. It is offered in 9", 12", and 16" display sizes, with built-in GPS/GNSS and integrated single-channel High CHIRP sonar for depth sounding and fishfinder use.
This range works on 12 V dc and 24 V dc electrical systems, with an operating voltage range of 8 V dc to 32 V dc. It also gives installers the network connections expected on modern boats, including two RayNet Ethernet ports, a DeviceNet NMEA 2000 connection, built-in Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, HDMI output, analog video input, and front-mounted microSDXC card slots.
The display is made for exposed helm use, with IPx6 and IPx7 waterproof ratings, sunlight-readable LCD brightness up to 1300 nits on the 9" model and 1200 nits on the 12" and 16" models, plus HybridTouch control so the unit can be operated by touchscreen or keypad when spray, gloves, or rough water make touch-only control less practical.
Key features
- Available in 9", 12", and 16" display sizes for different helm layouts and viewing distances.
- Integrated High CHIRP conical sonar supports depth sounding from 2 ft to 900 ft, depending on conditions and the connected transducer setup.
- Works with 12 V dc and 24 V dc boat systems, with an 8 V dc to 32 V dc operating range and a 15 A fuse rating.
- Two RayNet Ethernet ports and NMEA 2000 through DeviceNet make it suitable for expanding a helm with radar, autopilot, instruments, cameras, and other compatible onboard systems.
- Built-in GPS/GNSS supports GPS, Galileo, GLONASS, and Beidou, with a 10 Hz refresh rate for responsive position updates.
- HydroTough nano-coating helps shed water from the touchscreen and supports visibility in wet cockpit and flybridge conditions.
- HybridTouch operation combines touchscreen control with a keypad, which is useful when the boat is moving, the screen is wet, or quick physical inputs are easier.
- Front microSDXC card slots support chart cards, software updates, and data handling without reaching behind the display.
Variants
This Axiom 2 Pro S range varies by display size and LightHouse chart option. The display choices are 9", 12", and 16", while the chart configuration is either No Chart or LightHouse Charts North America.
The main system features remain consistent across the range where confirmed, including the Axiom 2 Pro S platform, integrated High CHIRP sonar, built-in GNSS, HybridTouch control, RayNet networking, NMEA 2000 connectivity, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, HDMI output, and IPx6/IPx7 waterproof rating. Screen resolution, physical size, brightness, and power consumption vary by display size, so those details should be checked against the selected model before cutting a dash or planning the electrical load.
Installation and setup
The Axiom 2 Pro S can be used as a single chartplotter at a compact helm or as part of a larger Raymarine network with multiple displays. The 9" and 12" models are supplied with a trunnion bracket for bracket mounting, while all sizes support surface or flush mounting when the helm layout calls for a cleaner panel installation.
Planning the installation space matters because depth behind the unit includes cable clearance. Surface or flush mounted dimensions are 173.79 mm x 299.32 mm x 234.9 mm for the 9" model, 222.8 mm x 358.03 mm x 233.4 mm for the 12" model, and 258 mm x 452.02 mm x 240.4 mm for the 16" model.
Electrical and system integration
For electrical planning, power consumption at 12 V dc is 33.12 W for the 9" model, 29.88 W for the 12" model, and 42.36 W for the 16" model. At 24 V dc, power consumption is 30.96 W, 28.8 W, and 40.8 W respectively.
The unit gives a practical path for growing a helm over time. RayNet Ethernet supports high-bandwidth marine devices, the NMEA 2000 connection supports instrument and engine data integration, and HDMI output allows the display to feed a remote monitor or entertainment screen where the installation supports it.
Sonar and transducer fit
The S version is the Axiom 2 Pro option with integrated single-channel High CHIRP conical sonar. It uses a 25-pin RealVision type transducer connection and requires the appropriate adaptor cable for CPT-S style transducers, so the selected transducer and cable plan should match the hull type, mounting method, and fishing or cruising use.
This makes the range a strong fit for cruisers, sailboats, and fishing boats that need charting with dependable depth awareness from the same helm display, without moving to a separate external sonar module for basic CHIRP depth and fishfinder functions.

Quality Boat Parts is a reseller. Many items include a manufacturer’s warranty, and all warranty service is handled directly by the manufacturer. We do not manage or administer warranty claims on behalf of customers.
Warranty terms, coverage, and duration are set by each manufacturer. Issues involving defects, repairs, or replacements must be addressed with the manufacturer’s support team. When available, the warranty period is listed on the product page. If it is not shown, contact us or the manufacturer for details before purchasing.
To start a claim, the customer must contact the manufacturer and follow their process. Keep your proof of purchase and original packaging, and register the product if the manufacturer requires it, as these are often needed for warranty service.
