Overview
The Jabsco 42630-3512-3C is a PAR-Max 1 freshwater delivery pump for a 12 VDC marine water pressure system with one outlet. It moves up to 1 GPM (3.8 LPM), uses an integrated pressure switch with a 35 PSI cut-off, and self-primes up to 6 ft (1.8 m).
This pump fits small freshwater setups where steady on-demand pressure is needed for a single tap or similar outlet. At about 6.5 in long, 4.0 in wide, and 2.7 in high, it is easier to place in compact lockers and service spaces than larger multi-outlet pumps.
It is a freshwater pressure pump rather than a washdown kit. The package does not include a strainer, trigger nozzle, or hose coil, so it is best matched to tank-fed potable or general freshwater circuits on boats that run on 12 VDC.
Key features
- 12 VDC pump for marine freshwater pressure systems, with operating range from 9 to 13.6 VDC
- 1 GPM (3.8 LPM) open flow with 35 PSI (2.4 bar) pressure switch cut-off for a single outlet circuit
- Self-primes up to 6 ft (1.8 m) and can run dry without damage
- Quick-connect ports with included 3/8 in (10 mm) straight hose barbs and 3/8 in ID to 1/2 in hose barb adapters
- 2 chamber diaphragm design with an enclosed permanent magnet TENV motor, thermal protection, and rubber feet that help reduce vibration and noise
- Wetted materials include fiber reinforced polypropylene, Santoprene, and EPDM, with stainless steel fasteners in the pump head
- IPX4 rated and ISO 8846 ignition protected for marine installation
Installation and setup
This model uses 6 in (152 mm) 18 AWG stripped wire leads and calls for a 4 amp fuse, which is not included. The quick-connect port layout helps when the pump needs to be removed for service, and the rubber mounting feet help keep noise down when it is installed near cabin spaces.
It is built for tank-fed systems, not for a pressurized inlet feed. The maximum inlet pressure is 0 PSI, and the rated fluid temperature range is 32 F to 110 F (0 C to 43 C), so it should be installed in a freshwater circuit that stays within that range.
Compatibility and fit
This pump is a good match for small 12 V boats that need pressure water at one outlet, such as a compact galley sink or a simple freshwater service point. It is less suited to boats with multiple faucets, showers, or higher water demand, since open flow is limited to 1 GPM and the motor is rated for intermittent duty.
Materials and corrosion resistance
The pump head uses fiber reinforced polypropylene for the upper and lower housings, with EPDM check valves and a Santoprene diaphragm in the wetted path. The motor sits inside a protective plastic casing, which helps in damp marine spaces where spray, salt air, and routine washdowns around nearby equipment are part of normal use.

Shipping
We ship worldwide from the United States. Rates are calculated at checkout based on destination and package weight. Some items include free shipping, which will show automatically. Not every product is eligible for international shipping; checkout will confirm eligibility. We do not ship to PO Boxes except through USPS, and not all packages qualify.
Processing and dispatch
Most orders are verified, packed, and handed to the carrier within 1 to 2 business days. Some products may need extra handling time or ship directly from the manufacturer. For certain international orders, inventory transfers between warehouses may add time. If any delay is expected, we will let you know the dispatch date.
Delivery and tracking
Deliveries are handled by trusted carriers such as USPS, UPS, FedEx, and DHL. Estimated arrival times appear at checkout and depend on your location and the service you choose. These are estimates and can be affected by customs or carrier disruptions. A shipping confirmation with a tracking link is emailed when your order ships, and tracking may take up to 24 hours to update. You can also view tracking in your account.
Duties, taxes, and support
International customers are responsible for any customs duties, taxes, and fees charged by the destination country. If these charges are refused and a shipment returns to us, the carrier’s return cost and any re-entry customs fees will be deducted from the refund. If your order is late or you need help, contact cs@qualityboatparts.com and we will assist you.
Quality Boat Parts is a reseller. Many items include a manufacturer’s warranty, and all warranty service is handled directly by the manufacturer. We do not manage or administer warranty claims on behalf of customers.
Warranty terms, coverage, and duration are set by each manufacturer. Issues involving defects, repairs, or replacements must be addressed with the manufacturer’s support team. When available, the warranty period is listed on the product page. If it is not shown, contact us or the manufacturer for details before purchasing.
To start a claim, the customer must contact the manufacturer and follow their process. Keep your proof of purchase and original packaging, and register the product if the manufacturer requires it, as these are often needed for warranty service.
We are happy to help you find the right contact or documentation, but we cannot decide outcomes or intervene in claim resolutions. For guidance, email cs@qualityboatparts.com.
