Overview
The Lumitec SeaBlazeX2 is a surface-mount LED underwater light that runs on 10-30 vDC (12V or 24V systems) and uses an IP68-rated sealed housing for continuous submersion.
White output is rated at 6,000 lumens while drawing 5A at 12V DC or 2.5A at 24V DC (60W). The light face is 3.94 in in diameter and the body sits about 0.85 in off the hull, with a 1/2 in cable pass-through through the transom.
It is offered in dual-color White/Blue or full-color RGBW Spectrum, with Bronze Finish or Polished Finish options to match your transom hardware and overall look.
Key features
- 10-30 vDC input for 12V and 24V boats; 5A at 12V DC or 2.5A at 24V DC (60W).
- 6,000-lumen white output with 6500 CCT and CRI 70+ (white light).
- IP68-rated sealing for underwater mounting and regular washdowns.
- Solid naval bronze housing with a heat-tempered glass lens.
- Surface-mount footprint: 3.94 in diameter, 0.85 in depth; 1/2 in cable pass-through.
- Two-wire or three-wire wiring options; orange signal wire supports PLI control and draws up to 0.1A per light.
- Dedicated circuit protection commonly uses up to a 7.5A fuse per light.
Variants
SeaBlazeX2 is available in multiple combinations of light output and finish.
Across the range, the mounting footprint, 10-30 vDC input, 6,000-lumen white output, 60W draw, and IP68 sealing remain consistent; the difference is the color output (RGBW Spectrum or White/Blue) and the exterior finish (Bronze Finish or Polished Finish).
- 101515: Light Color RGBW with Bronze Finish. RGBW Spectrum runs a color cycle and lets you lock a color with a quick off/on toggle.
- 101516: Light Color White/Blue with Bronze Finish. White/Blue steps through cross-fade, blue-only, and white-only with quick off/on toggles.
- 101591: Light Color RGBW with Polished Finish. Polished Finish uses plated bronze for a bright look on the transom.
- 101592: Light Color White/Blue with Polished Finish. This version keeps the same electrical and mounting footprint while pairing White/Blue output with the polished exterior.
What's included
- SBX2 light with 5 ft of 18 AWG wire
- 3 silicon bronze screws (#10 x 1.5 in)
- Rubber strain relief
- Instruction sheet
Installation and setup
SeaBlazeX2 mounts from the outside of the transom with a small 1/2 in hole for the cable. Plan the location so the light sits on a flat section of hull and stays clear of trim tabs, rudders, and other running gear.
A common placement is 6 to 12 in below the waterline on the transom. Bed the bezel and cable stem in a marine sealant such as 3M 4200, then tighten the screws by hand to avoid cracking gelcoat or snapping the bronze hardware.
Inside the hull, seal the cable pass-through and install the strain relief to protect the wiring where it exits the transom.
Electrical and control
Power is 10-30 vDC, so it fits 12V and 24V boats without a separate driver. At full output it draws 5A at 12V DC or 2.5A at 24V DC, and each light is typically protected on its own circuit with a fuse up to 7.5A.
Wiring can be done as a standard two-wire install by tying the red and orange leads together at the switch, or as a three-wire setup with constant power on red/black and a switched feed on the orange signal wire. The orange signal wire draws up to 0.1A per light and supports PLI control when tied into compatible digital switching.
Dual-color White/Blue versions step through cross-fade, blue-only, and white-only with quick power toggles. RGBW Spectrum versions cycle through available colors on power-up and allow a fixed color selection using quick off/on toggles.
Materials and corrosion resistance
The housing is solid naval bronze with a heat-tempered glass lens, and the assembly is rated IP68 for continuous submersion. It handles vibration and the regular spray that transom gear sees in day-to-day use.
If mounting to metal hulls or near dissimilar metals, follow standard isolation and bonding practices to reduce galvanic corrosion risk.
On-board use
This light fits boats that want a strong underwater wash for the swim area, transom lighting at anchor, or better visibility around the stern at night. White output is useful when checking the waterline and working dockside, while blue modes are often used for night ambiance.
Maintenance and care
Rinse the lens after saltwater runs and wipe it with a soft cloth. If growth builds up, clean gently and avoid abrasive pads that can scratch the glass and reduce light output.
Shipping
We ship worldwide from the United States. Rates are calculated at checkout based on destination and package weight. Some items include free shipping, which will show automatically. Not every product is eligible for international shipping; checkout will confirm eligibility. We do not ship to PO Boxes except through USPS, and not all packages qualify.
Processing and dispatch
Most orders are verified, packed, and handed to the carrier within 1 to 2 business days. Some products may need extra handling time or ship directly from the manufacturer. For certain international orders, inventory transfers between warehouses may add time. If any delay is expected, we will let you know the dispatch date.
Delivery and tracking
Deliveries are handled by trusted carriers such as USPS, UPS, FedEx, and DHL. Estimated arrival times appear at checkout and depend on your location and the service you choose. These are estimates and can be affected by customs or carrier disruptions. A shipping confirmation with a tracking link is emailed when your order ships, and tracking may take up to 24 hours to update. You can also view tracking in your account.
Duties, taxes, and support
International customers are responsible for any customs duties, taxes, and fees charged by the destination country. If these charges are refused and a shipment returns to us, the carrier’s return cost and any re-entry customs fees will be deducted from the refund. If your order is late or you need help, contact cs@qualityboatparts.com and we will assist you.
Quality Boat Parts is a reseller. Many items include a manufacturer’s warranty, and all warranty service is handled directly by the manufacturer. We do not manage or administer warranty claims on behalf of customers.
Warranty terms, coverage, and duration are set by each manufacturer. Issues involving defects, repairs, or replacements must be addressed with the manufacturer’s support team. When available, the warranty period is listed on the product page. If it is not shown, contact us or the manufacturer for details before purchasing.
To start a claim, the customer must contact the manufacturer and follow their process. Keep your proof of purchase and original packaging, and register the product if the manufacturer requires it, as these are often needed for warranty service.
