Overview

The Garmin 010-02919-02 is a 16 inch chartplotter and fishfinder combo built around the GPSMAP 1623xsv display for helm navigation and sonar in one screen.

It comes preloaded with Garmin Navionics+ coastal and inland mapping and includes Auto Guidance+ routing to help plan passes and approaches when chart data supports it. Built-in SideVü and ClearVü scanning sonar are available for structure detail, and it supports CHIRP traditional sonar up to 1 kW when paired with a compatible transducer.

For boats with a networked helm, it ties into Garmin Marine Network sharing and can connect to NMEA 2000 and NMEA 0183 systems for autopilot, AIS and VHF data, audio, engine information, and switching. Wi-Fi connectivity supports the ActiveCaptain app for updates, notifications, and data syncing.

Key features
  • 16 inch IPS display with edge-to-edge glass for a clean dash install and wide viewing angles.
  • Built-in Ultra High-Definition SideVü and ClearVü scanning sonar for clear returns on structure and bait.
  • Supports CHIRP traditional sonar up to 1 kW with a compatible transducer.
  • Compatible with Panoptix and LiveScope live sonar systems when paired with the appropriate transducer.
  • Garmin Marine Network sharing for charts, user data, radar, sonar, and IP camera video with compatible Garmin displays.
  • NMEA 2000 and NMEA 0183 connectivity for common helm integrations such as autopilot, AIS, VHF, weather, audio, and digital switching.
  • Wi-Fi support for ActiveCaptain features like software updates, smart notifications, and data sync.
  • Preloaded Garmin Navionics+ charts with the option to upgrade to Navionics Vision+ premium chart content.
Installation and setup

This unit is built for flush mounting at the helm, and the included flush mount kit and trim snap covers help finish the cutout cleanly. Before cutting, confirm you have the dash depth and clearance for connectors and cable bend radius, and plan a service loop so the display can be pulled forward later.

Sonar performance depends on transducer choice and placement. For reliable readings, route transducer and network cables away from ignition wiring, high-current conductors, and noisy DC loads whenever possible.

Networking and control at the helm

When connected to compatible components, the display can share information and control functions across a Garmin system, including radar and other networked sensors. It also supports digital switching and OneHelm-compatible integrations where those systems are installed on the boat.

It can integrate with Force trolling motors and compatible Power-Pole shallow water anchoring systems, and it supports CHARGE Marine Power Manager control from the screen when that system is installed.

Compatibility and fit

Confirm chart coverage for your home waters and confirm that your existing network is NMEA 2000, NMEA 0183, Garmin Marine Network, or a mix so you have the right backbone components and adapters on hand. If you are moving from another display, check connector types and transducer compatibility rather than assuming a plug match.

A 16 inch screen makes the most sense on helms with room for a large flush install, such as larger center consoles, sportfishing boats, and cruising sailboats where one primary display is expected to handle both navigation and fishing views.

We ship worldwide from the United States. Rates are calculated at checkout based on destination and package weight. Some items include free shipping, which will show automatically. Not every product is eligible for international shipping; checkout will confirm eligibility. We do not ship to PO Boxes except through USPS, and not all packages qualify.

Processing and dispatch
Most orders are verified, packed, and handed to the carrier within 1 to 2 business days. Some products may need extra handling time or ship directly from the manufacturer. For certain international orders, inventory transfers between warehouses may add time. If any delay is expected, we will let you know the dispatch date.

Delivery and tracking
Deliveries are handled by trusted carriers such as USPS, UPS, FedEx, and DHL. Estimated arrival times appear at checkout and depend on your location and the service you choose. These are estimates and can be affected by customs or carrier disruptions. A shipping confirmation with a tracking link is emailed when your order ships, and tracking may take up to 24 hours to update. You can also view tracking in your account.

Duties, taxes, and support
International customers are responsible for any customs duties, taxes, and fees charged by the destination country. If these charges are refused and a shipment returns to us, the carrier’s return cost and any re-entry customs fees will be deducted from the refund. If your order is late or you need help, contact cs@qualityboatparts.com and we will assist you.

Quality Boat Parts is a reseller. Many items include a manufacturer’s warranty, and all warranty service is handled directly by the manufacturer. We do not manage or administer warranty claims on behalf of customers.

Warranty terms, coverage, and duration are set by each manufacturer. Issues involving defects, repairs, or replacements must be addressed with the manufacturer’s support team. When available, the warranty period is listed on the product page. If it is not shown, contact us or the manufacturer for details before purchasing.

To start a claim, the customer must contact the manufacturer and follow their process. Keep your proof of purchase and original packaging, and register the product if the manufacturer requires it, as these are often needed for warranty service.

We are happy to help you find the right contact or documentation, but we cannot decide outcomes or intervene in claim resolutions. For guidance, email cs@qualityboatparts.com.
