Overview
The Raymarine T70434 is a wireless second station kit for adding a remote VHF control point to a compatible Raymarine modular VHF system. It pairs a wireless handset with an active speaker, giving crew access to radio controls and audio away from the main black-box installation.
This kit is commonly used when the main VHF transceiver is mounted out of sight and a second operating position is needed at the helm, flybridge, cockpit, or another working area on board. The wireless handset uses a 2.4 GHz connection through a Raymarine wireless hub, and the handset is rated IPx6 and IPx7 for protection against spray, washdowns, and temporary immersion.
The wireless hub A80540 is required and sold separately. Compatibility includes Raymarine Ray90, Ray91, Ray63, and Ray73 VHF radios when the system is set up with the required wireless components.
Key features
- Adds a wireless second station for VHF control and audio on compatible Raymarine modular VHF systems.
- Includes a wireless handset and active speaker for a remote station with practical use at a helm, flybridge, cockpit, or crew position.
- Wireless handset carries an IPx6 and IPx7 waterproof rating for wet marine locations where spray and washdowns are part of normal use.
- 2.4 GHz wireless connection keeps the station free from long handset cable runs through the vessel.
- Rechargeable lithium-ion handset battery is rated at 2000 mAh, with up to 8 hours of talk time and up to 100 hours of standby time.
- Supports connection through a Raymarine wireless hub, which is required for wireless handset operation and is not included with this kit.
- Works with Raymarine Ray90, Ray91, Ray63, and Ray73 VHF radios when installed with the correct wireless hub and system setup.
Installation and setup
Plan the second station location before installation so the handset, active speaker, and charging area are easy to reach during normal operation. A helm or flybridge position works well when the main radio is mounted below deck or behind the dash, while a cockpit location can help crew handle docking, fishing, or sail handling without returning to the main station.
The wireless handset must be connected through the Raymarine wireless hub. For a clean installation, mount the hub and related components where they are protected from unnecessary exposure and positioned for dependable wireless coverage across the intended operating area.
Compatibility and fit
This kit is for Raymarine systems that support wireless VHF handset stations, including Ray90, Ray91, Ray63, and Ray73 radios. It is not a standalone VHF radio and does not replace the main transceiver, antenna, power wiring, MMSI setup, or any required radio licensing.
It is a practical match for boats that already use a compatible Raymarine VHF and need control from more than one position, especially center consoles with towers, cruising boats with inside and outside helms, and larger vessels where the radio base station is mounted away from the operator.

Quality Boat Parts is a reseller. Many items include a manufacturer’s warranty, and all warranty service is handled directly by the manufacturer. We do not manage or administer warranty claims on behalf of customers.
Warranty terms, coverage, and duration are set by each manufacturer. Issues involving defects, repairs, or replacements must be addressed with the manufacturer’s support team. When available, the warranty period is listed on the product page. If it is not shown, contact us or the manufacturer for details before purchasing.
To start a claim, the customer must contact the manufacturer and follow their process. Keep your proof of purchase and original packaging, and register the product if the manufacturer requires it, as these are often needed for warranty service.
