Overview
The Lumitec Aruba Baitwell LED Courtesy Light is a sealed LED accent light that adds soft, indirect lighting in baitwells, lockers, step wells, and toe kicks. It runs on 10 to 16V DC for 12V systems and is sealed to an IP67 rating for wet areas and washdowns.
The stainless steel cover is polished and passivated for a clean look that fits modern cockpit and cabin interiors. With a compact body that is about 0.5 inches (1.27 cm) deep and a face that measures about 0.93 inches (2.36 cm) in diameter, it fits neatly in tight mounting spots where larger fixtures get in the way.
Key features
- 10 to 16V DC input for 12V electrical systems
- IP67-rated sealing for use in damp compartments and exposed areas that see spray or washdowns
- Stainless steel cover that is polished and passivated
- Compact footprint with approximately 0.93 inch (2.36 cm) face diameter and 0.5 inch (1.27 cm) depth
- Low current draw that makes it practical to add multiple lights on one switched circuit
- Offered in multiple light colors so you can match the look of your cockpit, cabin, or baitwell area
Variants
This light is offered in multiple configurations based on light color.
Light output color varies by part number. The form factor, polished stainless finish, IP67 sealing, and 10 to 16V DC input remain consistent across the range.
- 101145: Blue light color. Blue output works well where you want the area visible without the look of white light.
- 101146: Red light color. Red output keeps surfaces easy to find while keeping glare down in darker conditions.
- 101230: Warm white light color. Warm white has a softer tone that reads closer to traditional incandescent lighting.
- 101144: White light color. White output gives a crisp, general-purpose courtesy light for steps, toe kicks, and compartments.
Installation and setup
Mounting is straightforward for most fiberglass, aluminum, or interior panels. A 5/8 inch hole is used for the light body, and the unit is secured from the backside with a nylon nut. Plan the wire run so the wiring stays protected from sharp edges and moving gear inside lockers and baitwell access areas.
Wire it to a fused 12V DC circuit within the 10 to 16V range. Each light draws approximately 30 mA at 12V DC, so multi-light runs are easy to size when you are adding several courtesy points around the cockpit or inside compartments.
Compatibility and fit
This is a good choice when you need a low-profile courtesy or baitwell light that does not protrude into storage space. The small face and shallow depth help it fit under gunwales, along coamings, inside step wells, and in hatch surrounds where clearance matters.
Use on board
Common mounting spots include baitwell lids and surrounds, under-gunwale toe areas, cockpit step wells, cabin steps, and inside lockers where you want quick visibility without lighting up the whole space. It is a strong match for owners adding subtle guidance lighting for night movement on deck, and for anglers who want light placed near livewell and baitwell access points.
Maintenance and care
Rinse after saltwater exposure and wipe down the stainless cover with mild soap and water. Avoid abrasive pads that can dull the polished finish, and periodically check the wiring and fastening nut in high-vibration areas.

Quality Boat Parts is a reseller. Many items include a manufacturer’s warranty, and all warranty service is handled directly by the manufacturer. We do not manage or administer warranty claims on behalf of customers.
Warranty terms, coverage, and duration are set by each manufacturer. Issues involving defects, repairs, or replacements must be addressed with the manufacturer’s support team. When available, the warranty period is listed on the product page. If it is not shown, contact us or the manufacturer for details before purchasing.
To start a claim, the customer must contact the manufacturer and follow their process. Keep your proof of purchase and original packaging, and register the product if the manufacturer requires it, as these are often needed for warranty service.
