Overview

The Garmin 010-02686-00 is a 7 inch chartplotter and sonar combo with Canada inland and coastal mapping and an included GT54 transducer. The WVGA 800 x 480 touchscreen uses keyed-assist controls, so zooming, marking waypoints, and paging through sonar views stays manageable when you are running in chop or fishing with wet hands.

It runs on 9 to 18 Vdc (12 V nominal) and carries an IPX7 water rating for rain, spray, and routine washdowns at the helm. Built-in Garmin Navionics+ charts cover Canada inland and coastal areas, with Canada and Alaska coverage and a 1 year subscription to daily updates.

With the transducer installed, you get traditional CHIRP plus ClearVü and SideVü scanning to read bottom transitions, weeds, and structure without guessing. LiveScope is supported as an add-on when you want real-time sonar later.

Key features
  • 7 inch WVGA touchscreen (800 x 480) with keyed-assist controls for quick operation underway
  • Preloaded Garmin Navionics+ Canada inland and coastal mapping, including Canada and Alaska coverage with a 1 year daily-update subscription
  • Includes a GT54 transducer for traditional CHIRP, ClearVü, and SideVü sonar views
  • Built-in Wi-Fi for wireless sharing of sonar, waypoints, and routes with compatible ECHOMAP UHD2 units
  • Multi-band GPS for more consistent position performance in areas with weak or reflected signals
  • NMEA 2000 support for integrating compatible data and devices on a network backbone
  • IPX7 water rating and 9 to 18 Vdc input for typical 12 V boat electrical systems
  • microSD card slot supports up to 1 TB for chart management and data handling
Installation and setup

Mounting can be done with a bail mount at the console or a flush mount in the dash. For dash planning, the unit and cradle measure 218 x 142 x 81 mm (8 9/16 x 5 5/8 x 3 3/16 in.), and it helps to allow 118 mm (4 5/8 in.) of clearance behind the chartplotter for connectors and bend radius.

Power should be brought in as a clean 12 V feed within the 9 to 18 Vdc range. On boats that are strictly 24 V, plan on a proper step-down converter so voltage stays in range when charging.

Keep the display at least 25.5 cm (10 in.) from a magnetic compass if you have a compass at the helm. That spacing helps avoid interference when you are steering by hand.

Electrical and system integration

Wi-Fi sharing is handy when you run a bow and console setup, since user data and sonar can be shared between compatible ECHOMAP UHD2 displays. NMEA 2000 connectivity allows the unit to sit on a backbone with compatible sensors and equipment so you can pull key information onto the same screen instead of jumping between displays.

Force trolling motor integration and the ActiveCaptain app workflow are built in for anglers who want route and waypoint management from a phone and on-screen control from the helm when running compatible gear.

Use cases on board

This configuration makes sense for inland lakes, big reservoirs, and coastal runs where you want mapping plus SideVü and ClearVü scanning to work structure and breaklines. It is a solid fit for bass boats, multi-species fishing boats, and smaller cruisers where dash space is limited but you still want a full chartplotter and sonar view.

Shipping
We ship worldwide from the United States. Rates are calculated at checkout based on destination and package weight. Some items include free shipping, which will show automatically. Not every product is eligible for international shipping; checkout will confirm eligibility. We do not ship to PO Boxes except through USPS, and not all packages qualify.

Processing and dispatch
Most orders are verified, packed, and handed to the carrier within 1 to 2 business days. Some products may need extra handling time or ship directly from the manufacturer. For certain international orders, inventory transfers between warehouses may add time. If any delay is expected, we will let you know the dispatch date.

Delivery and tracking
Deliveries are handled by trusted carriers such as USPS, UPS, FedEx, and DHL. Estimated arrival times appear at checkout and depend on your location and the service you choose. These are estimates and can be affected by customs or carrier disruptions. A shipping confirmation with a tracking link is emailed when your order ships, and tracking may take up to 24 hours to update. You can also view tracking in your account.

Duties, taxes, and support
International customers are responsible for any customs duties, taxes, and fees charged by the destination country. If these charges are refused and a shipment returns to us, the carrier’s return cost and any re-entry customs fees will be deducted from the refund. If your order is late or you need help, contact cs@qualityboatparts.com and we will assist you.

Quality Boat Parts is a reseller. Many items include a manufacturer’s warranty, and all warranty service is handled directly by the manufacturer. We do not manage or administer warranty claims on behalf of customers.

Warranty terms, coverage, and duration are set by each manufacturer. Issues involving defects, repairs, or replacements must be addressed with the manufacturer’s support team. When available, the warranty period is listed on the product page. If it is not shown, contact us or the manufacturer for details before purchasing.

To start a claim, the customer must contact the manufacturer and follow their process. Keep your proof of purchase and original packaging, and register the product if the manufacturer requires it, as these are often needed for warranty service.

We are happy to help you find the right contact or documentation, but we cannot decide outcomes or intervene in claim resolutions. For guidance, email cs@qualityboatparts.com.
