Overview
The Hella Marine EuroLED 150 Non-Touch Lamp is a 150 mm round LED downlight that runs on 9-33V DC and draws 4W, making it a straightforward fit on both 12V and 24V boats.
It recess-mounts into a 124 mm cutout and can also be surface mounted using the supplied spacer. There is no built-in switch or dimming, so it is controlled from a standard on and off lighting circuit.
The lamp is fully sealed to an IP67 level for use in wet areas, with reverse polarity and transient spike protection. A clear, UV resistant enhanced-impact acrylic lens helps spread the light so it feels comfortable when you are looking up at it in cabins, under hardtops, and in covered exterior spaces.
Key features
- Multivolt 9-33V DC input for 12V and 24V systems
- 4W power draw (under 0.33A at 12V and under 0.16A at 24V)
- Recess mount with 124 mm cutout and 150 mm rim diameter
- Approx. 20 mm lamp depth, plus wiring clearance behind the panel
- IP67 sealed housing for wet locations and washdowns
- Reverse polarity and transient spike protection built in
- Pre-wired with 0.5m sheathed multi-core marine cable
Variants
This light is offered with two rim materials while keeping the same lamp size, voltage range, and power draw.
The only change between the variants is the trim material at the rim, which affects appearance and how the visible edge holds up around the mounting surface.
- 980631502: Plastic rim. A clean look for white liners and composite panels, without exposed metal at the trim.
- 980631512: Stainless steel rim. A polished finish that pairs naturally with stainless hardware and wipe-down surfaces.
What's included
- EuroLED 150 lamp with attached cable
- Surface-mount spacer
Installation and setup
For a recessed install, cut a 124 mm hole and confirm you have enough depth behind the panel for the lamp body and cable bend radius. For surface mounting, place the spacer behind the rim and route the cable to a protected connection point.
Wire red to DC positive and black to DC negative. Since this is the non-touch version, switching is handled at your helm or cabin switch panel, or through a relay if you are integrating it into a larger lighting circuit.
Compatibility and fit
Multivolt input (9-33V DC) makes it suitable for most DC house systems, including boats that see voltage swings from charging or long cable runs. The 150 mm rim diameter is useful to know if you are covering an older cutout or matching an existing EuroLED footprint across multiple locations.
This suits owners refitting interior overhead lights, hardtop downlights, or sheltered cockpit lighting where a sealed fixture and consistent, low-glare output matters more than onboard controls.
Maintenance and care
Rinse salt off the lens and rim after heavy spray, then wipe with mild soap and water. Avoid harsh solvents on the lens, and periodically check the cable run and connections so water cannot track into the wiring.
Shipping
We ship worldwide from the United States. Rates are calculated at checkout based on destination and package weight. Some items include free shipping, which will show automatically. Quality Boat Parts is a reseller. Many items include a manufacturer’s warranty, and all warranty service is handled directly by the manufacturer. We do not manage or administer warranty claims on behalf of customers.
Warranty terms, coverage, and duration are set by each manufacturer. Issues involving defects, repairs, or replacements must be addressed with the manufacturer’s support team. When available, the warranty period is listed on the product page. If it is not shown, contact us or the manufacturer for details before purchasing.
To start a claim, the customer must contact the manufacturer and follow their process. Keep your proof of purchase and original packaging, and register the product if the manufacturer requires it, as these are often needed for warranty service.
We are happy to help you find the right contact or documentation, but we cannot decide outcomes or intervene in claim resolutions. For guidance, email cs@qualityboatparts.com.
