Overview
The Hella Marine EuroLED 150 Touch Lamp is a recessed-mount downlight that switches between warm white (3000K) and red, with touch control and dimming on a 9-33V DC supply.
It pulls 4.0W (0.33A at 12V, 0.16A at 24V) and is IP67 completely sealed, so it holds up well in damp cabins, heads, and covered exterior overheads where spray and washdowns happen. The face is 150mm (5.90in) across with a 124mm (4.88in) cut-out and a 20mm (0.79in) depth, which helps when you are checking clearance behind headliners and paneling.
The touch pads handle ON/OFF, color switching, and dimming, and the lamp remembers the last color and brightness setting after power is removed.
Key features
- Dual color output: warm white (3000K) and red, controlled directly on the lamp with touch pads for ON/OFF, color change, and dimming
- Multivolt 9-33V DC input for common 12V and 24V boat systems
- 4.0W draw (0.33A at 12V, 0.16A at 24V) for low load on house batteries and lighting circuits
- IP67 completely sealed construction for areas that see moisture, vibration, and routine wipe-downs
- Recessed-mount fit: 150mm (5.90in) overall diameter, 124mm (4.88in) cut-out, 20mm (0.79in) depth
- Pre-wired with 500mm marine cable with color-coded leads: red (+), black (-), blue external switch lead
- External control support using an (On)-Off-(On) spring return momentary switch for remote operation and synchronization across multiple lamps (switch not included)
- Lens is UV resistant enhanced impact polycarbonate, with rim options in UV resistant plastic or 316 stainless steel
Variants
This lamp is offered in two rim material options.
The rim material is what changes between variants. The electrical specs (9-33V DC, 4.0W), sealing (IP67), lens material, cable length (500mm), and recessed-mount dimensions are consistent across the range.
- 980630102 - Plastic rim. A non-metal bezel option that suits white interior trim schemes and avoids stainless against soft headliners.
- 980630112 - Stainless steel rim. A 316 stainless bezel option for a metal finish that stands up well to salt air and frequent cleaning.
Installation and fit
This is a recessed-mount lamp. Plan for a 124mm (4.88in) cut-out and confirm you have at least 20mm (0.79in) of depth plus room for the wiring behind the mounting surface. In overhead panels, leave enough space so the cable can route without being pinched when the fixture is seated.
Wiring and control
Connect red to DC positive and black to DC negative. The blue lead is used for external momentary switch control; this is handy when you want a helm or cabin switch to control one lamp or a group of lamps. Protect the circuit with a fuse rated at 2A maximum, and use sealed connections appropriate for the mounting location.
Use on board
Warm white works well for general cabin lighting in saloons, galleys, and berths, while red lighting is commonly used at night to help keep night vision. This style of lamp is a good match for owners who want a single downlight that can cover day-to-day lighting and night mode without adding a separate red courtesy circuit.
Maintenance and care
Clean the lens and rim with fresh water and a soft cloth after salt exposure, and avoid abrasive cleaners that can haze the lens. The lamp is sealed and not intended to be opened for service.

Quality Boat Parts is a reseller. Many items include a manufacturer’s warranty, and all warranty service is handled directly by the manufacturer. We do not manage or administer warranty claims on behalf of customers.
Warranty terms, coverage, and duration are set by each manufacturer. Issues involving defects, repairs, or replacements must be addressed with the manufacturer’s support team. When available, the warranty period is listed on the product page. If it is not shown, contact us or the manufacturer for details before purchasing.
To start a claim, the customer must contact the manufacturer and follow their process. Keep your proof of purchase and original packaging, and register the product if the manufacturer requires it, as these are often needed for warranty service.
