Overview
The Vimar Eikon 20784 is a 4-module table mounting box for flush-mounted Eikon switching equipment. It uses a horizontal layout, has IP20 protection, and includes a cable entry for bringing wiring into the box from a protected interior location.
The housing is plastic with a matt finish, and it is halogen-free and shock resistant. This is the mounting box only, so the installation is completed with a matching mounting frame and cover plate.
On board, this type of enclosure makes sense in dry interior spaces such as a cabin desk, chart table, or other furniture surface where Eikon controls or outlets need to sit above the surface rather than inside a bulkhead. IP20 means it belongs away from spray, washdowns, and other exposed areas.
Key features
- 4-module format for Vimar Eikon modular switching devices
- Surface-mounted table box with horizontal mounting direction
- IP20-rated enclosure for protected interior use
- Plastic housing with matt finish, halogen-free construction, and shock-resistant body
- Integrated cable entry for routing wiring into the enclosure
- Requires a separate mounting frame and cover plate to complete the assembly
Variants
This product is offered in two color configurations.
The change across the range is the housing color. Both versions share the same 4-module layout, IP20 protection, horizontal mounting direction, plastic construction, and cable-entry box format.
- VM20784.B, Color White. This version uses a white finish similar to RAL 9016, which keeps the assembly visually light on white or pale interior panels.
- VM20784, Color Grey. This version uses a grey finish similar to RAL 7024, which gives a darker look on technical panels and mixed-material interiors.
Compatibility and fit
This box is intended for modular domestic switching devices in the Vimar Eikon range and is arranged for 4 modules. Before ordering for a boat, check that the devices you plan to install match the Eikon module system and that the finished assembly suits the available surface space.
The enclosure is about 80 mm high and 67.6 mm deep, with a width around 142.5 mm depending on the color version. That footprint matters on helm tables, nav desks, and cabin worktops where the box remains visible above the mounting surface.
Installation and setup
The box mounts on the surface and leaves the installed devices accessible from the front. Cable entry is built into the enclosure, so it helps to plan the wire path before fastening it to timber, composite, or other interior furniture on board.
This is a good match for refits and new interior joinery where Eikon devices need a clean above-surface installation. It is most at home in cabins, saloons, and navigation stations where the environment stays dry and controlled.

Quality Boat Parts is a reseller. Many items include a manufacturer’s warranty, and all warranty service is handled directly by the manufacturer. We do not manage or administer warranty claims on behalf of customers.
Warranty terms, coverage, and duration are set by each manufacturer. Issues involving defects, repairs, or replacements must be addressed with the manufacturer’s support team. When available, the warranty period is listed on the product page. If it is not shown, contact us or the manufacturer for details before purchasing.
To start a claim, the customer must contact the manufacturer and follow their process. Keep your proof of purchase and original packaging, and register the product if the manufacturer requires it, as these are often needed for warranty service.
