Overview

The Garmin 010-11454-00 is a 10 m (32 ft) antenna cable with BNC connectors on both ends for running an external GPS antenna to compatible Garmin marine electronics. It is used when the antenna needs to be mounted away from the display or black box so it can “see” the sky while the electronics stay protected at the helm, nav station, or inside the console.

On most boats, this is the clean way to reach a hardtop, radar arch, or mast mount without splicing coax. It is an antenna signal cable only and does not replace any power, NMEA 0183, or NMEA 2000 wiring.

Before ordering, confirm your equipment has a BNC antenna connection on the unit side and that your antenna lead also terminates in BNC. If your antenna or device uses SMA or another connector style, it will not mate directly.

Key features
  • 10 m (32 ft) length for routing from a sky-view antenna location back to the electronics mounting position
  • BNC connectors on both ends for systems that use BNC antenna ports
  • Commonly paired with Garmin GA 38 passive GPS/GLONASS antenna installations that use a coax connection
  • Used in Garmin AIS 600 installations that accept a BNC-connected GPS antenna feed
  • Allows a single uninterrupted run to reduce loss and avoid in-line splices in wet lockers and cable chases
Compatibility and fit

This cable is a match when both the antenna and the receiving device use BNC for the antenna connection. It is typically used to link an external GPS antenna to a compatible Garmin chartplotter, AIS black box, or VHF/AIS system that supports an external antenna input. If your setup relies on a different connector type at either end, plan for the correct cable style rather than forcing a fit.

It is a good match for boats that keep electronics below deck or behind the helm and want the antenna mounted where it has a clean view of the sky, such as on a hardtop, radar arch, or a sailboat rail or mast bracket.

Installation and routing

Dry-fit the route first and leave a small service loop at both ends so the connectors are not under tension. When pulling through conduit or a rigging tube, protect the BNC ends from snagging and avoid tight bends that can kink coax. Secure the run at intervals to prevent chafe and vibration wear, especially where it passes through bulkheads or under a deck edge.

BNC connectors lock with a push and twist motion. Make sure each end is fully seated and locked, and keep any connector junctions out of standing water. In exposed areas, add strain relief and weather protection appropriate for your installation location.

Maintenance and care

Periodically inspect the cable where it is clamped and where it enters compartments, looking for flattening, chafe, or corrosion at the connectors. If you remove the cable during service, keep the BNC ends clean and capped until reinstalled to avoid contamination that can affect antenna performance.

Shipping
We ship worldwide from the United States. Rates are calculated at checkout based on destination and package weight. Some items include free shipping, which will show automatically. Not every product is eligible for international shipping; checkout will confirm eligibility. We do not ship to PO Boxes except through USPS, and not all packages qualify.

Processing and dispatch
Most orders are verified, packed, and handed to the carrier within 1 to 2 business days. Some products may need extra handling time or ship directly from the manufacturer. For certain international orders, inventory transfers between warehouses may add time. If any delay is expected, we will let you know the dispatch date.

Delivery and tracking
Deliveries are handled by trusted carriers such as USPS, UPS, FedEx, and DHL. Estimated arrival times appear at checkout and depend on your location and the service you choose. These are estimates and can be affected by customs or carrier disruptions. A shipping confirmation with a tracking link is emailed when your order ships, and tracking may take up to 24 hours to update. You can also view tracking in your account.

Duties, taxes, and support
International customers are responsible for any customs duties, taxes, and fees charged by the destination country. If these charges are refused and a shipment returns to us, the carrier’s return cost and any re-entry customs fees will be deducted from the refund. If your order is late or you need help, contact cs@qualityboatparts.com and we will assist you.

Quality Boat Parts is a reseller. Many items include a manufacturer’s warranty, and all warranty service is handled directly by the manufacturer. We do not manage or administer warranty claims on behalf of customers.

Warranty terms, coverage, and duration are set by each manufacturer. Issues involving defects, repairs, or replacements must be addressed with the manufacturer’s support team. When available, the warranty period is listed on the product page. If it is not shown, contact us or the manufacturer for details before purchasing.

To start a claim, the customer must contact the manufacturer and follow their process. Keep your proof of purchase and original packaging, and register the product if the manufacturer requires it, as these are often needed for warranty service.

We are happy to help you find the right contact or documentation, but we cannot decide outcomes or intervene in claim resolutions. For guidance, email cs@qualityboatparts.com.
