Overview
The Vimar Eikon 20022 is an interchangeable 2-module rocker button cover for Eikon switching devices, with a lightable window so an indicator or locator light can show through when used with a compatible illuminated mechanism.
This is the front control element and not the electrical switch itself. The electrical rating and circuit type come from the switch or push button mechanism it is fitted to. The front is rated IP40, which suits protected interior panels and cabins rather than areas that see spray or washdowns.
Key features
- 2-module (2M) one-part rocker format for Vimar Eikon switch and push button mechanisms
- Lightable rocker with a monitoring window/light outlet for locator or status indication when paired with a compatible illuminated mechanism
- Clamp mounting fastening style
- Thermoplastic construction that is halogen free
- IP40 front protection for dry, sheltered installation locations
- No label area and no exchangeable lens/symbol
- Not listed as suitable for a touch sensor connector for bus systems
Variants
This range is offered with different front finishes and markings while keeping the same 2-module, lightable rocker format.
Options include Color Grey, Color Silver, and Color White, with Symbol Standard as well as Symbol Bell, Symbol Key, Symbol Light, and Symbol O/I. The O/I marking uses 0 and 1 characters and is specified for 2-pole 1-way switch mechanisms.
Compatibility and fit
This rocker is intended for the Vimar Eikon modular ecosystem. Confirm your existing mechanism and mounting frame are the Eikon format and that your opening is sized for a 2-module rocker.
If you are installing into a boat panel, use a protected location where the front will not be exposed to salt spray, dripping, or washdowns. IP40 is appropriate for interior helm pods, cabins, and electrical lockers when the panel face stays dry.
Installation and setup
Fit the rocker cover onto the compatible mechanism using the clamp mounting system, then verify smooth actuation without binding. If you want the rocker to glow or show status, pair it with the correct illuminated mechanism or lamp arrangement so the light aligns with the monitoring window.
After installation, cycle the control under load and check that the symbol orientation and rocker travel match the intended circuit function.
Use cases on board
This style of marked rocker is commonly used on yachts and workboats for tidy, repeatable labeling of circuits on interior panels, such as cabin lights, courtesy lighting, a bell or call circuit, or a keyed function where access needs to be obvious at a glance.
It is a good match for refits where the boat already uses Vimar Eikon hardware and you want a consistent look across switches without changing the underlying mechanisms.
Maintenance and care
Clean with a soft cloth and mild soap solution. Avoid solvents and abrasive pads that can haze a matt finish or damage printed markings.

Most orders are verified, packed, and handed to the carrier within 1 to 2 business days. Some products may need extra handling time or ship directly from the manufacturer. For certain international orders, inventory transfers between warehouses may add time. If any delay is expected, we will let you know the dispatch date.

Deliveries are handled by trusted carriers such as USPS, UPS, FedEx, and DHL. Estimated arrival times appear at checkout and depend on your location and the service you choose. These are estimates and can be affected by customs or carrier disruptions. A shipping confirmation with a tracking link is emailed when your order ships, and tracking may take up to 24 hours to update. You can also view tracking in your account.
Duties, taxes, and support
International customers are responsible for any customs duties, taxes, and fees charged by the destination country. If your order is late or you need help, contact cs@qualityboatparts.com and we will assist you.
Quality Boat Parts is a reseller. Many items include a manufacturer’s warranty, and all warranty service is handled directly by the manufacturer. We do not manage or administer warranty claims on behalf of customers.
Warranty terms, coverage, and duration are set by each manufacturer. Issues involving defects, repairs, or replacements must be addressed with the manufacturer’s support team. When available, the warranty period is listed on the product page. If it is not shown, contact us or the manufacturer for details before purchasing.
To start a claim, the customer must contact the manufacturer and follow their process. Keep your proof of purchase and original packaging, and register the product if the manufacturer requires it, as these are often needed for warranty service.
We are happy to help you find the right contact or documentation, but we cannot decide outcomes or intervene in claim resolutions. For guidance, email cs@qualityboatparts.com.
