Overview

The Raymarine A80277 is a CPT-110 thru-hull CHIRP DownVision transducer for boats using compatible Raymarine CP100, a68, and a78 fishfinder systems. It reads depth and water temperature, with two CHIRP channels for traditional sonar and DownVision imaging.

This transducer is built with a urethane body and a 10 m cable for below-waterline installation through fiberglass or metal hulls. It supports deadrise angles from 0 to 25 degrees, which makes it suitable for many planing and displacement hulls when the mounting location gives the transducer a clean water flow.

Depth capability is rated to 600 ft for DownVision and 900 ft for fishfinder sonar, with 25 and 60 degree beam coverage depending on the sonar mode. IPX6 and IPX7 waterproof ratings help it stand up to normal marine exposure once installed correctly.

Key features
  • Thru-hull CPT-110 transducer for compatible Raymarine CP100, a68, and a78 systems.
  • Reads both depth and water temperature for fishfinding, cruising, and shallow-water awareness.
  • Dual CHIRP channels support traditional sonar and DownVision imaging from one transducer.
  • Rated for DownVision depth readings to 600 ft and fishfinder sonar readings to 900 ft.
  • Works with fiberglass and metal hulls when installed in a suitable through-hull location.
  • Supports hull deadrise angles from 0 to 25 degrees using the included deadrise block.
  • Urethane construction with IPX6 and IPX7 waterproof ratings for the wet marine environment.
  • Includes a 10 m cable to help reach the fishfinder module or display on many small and mid-size boats.
Installation and setup

The A80277 is intended for a thru-hull installation, so the mounting spot should be chosen carefully before drilling. A clean flow of water across the transducer face is important for stable readings, especially when the boat is on plane or running in choppy water.

The supplied deadrise block helps align the transducer for hulls with up to 25 degrees of deadrise. On cored fiberglass hulls, the core area must be sealed properly during installation to prevent water ingress.

Compatibility and fit

This transducer is made for Raymarine CHIRP DownVision systems that use the CP100, a68, or a78 platform. It is not a universal NMEA 2000 sensor or a stand-alone depth display, so the boat should already have the compatible Raymarine sonar hardware in place.

The transducer body measures 210.8 mm long and up to 131.8 mm high. Check available hull clearance inside the boat, cable routing, and access to the securing nut before installation.

Use cases on board

The CPT-110 is a practical match for anglers and cruising boat owners who want a fixed thru-hull transducer instead of a transom mount. It is especially useful where a cleaner installation is preferred and where depth, temperature, and DownVision detail matter for fishing, coastal cruising, or reading bottom structure.

Quality Boat Parts is a reseller. Many items include a manufacturer’s warranty, and all warranty service is handled directly by the manufacturer. We do not manage or administer warranty claims on behalf of customers.

Warranty terms, coverage, and duration are set by each manufacturer. Issues involving defects, repairs, or replacements must be addressed with the manufacturer’s support team. When available, the warranty period is listed on the product page. If it is not shown, contact us or the manufacturer for details before purchasing.

To start a claim, the customer must contact the manufacturer and follow their process. Keep your proof of purchase and original packaging, and register the product if the manufacturer requires it, as these are often needed for warranty service.

We are happy to help you find the right contact or documentation, but we cannot decide outcomes or intervene in claim resolutions. For guidance, email cs@qualityboatparts.com.
