The SSP TBX (763960) has a 15.625 inches diameter, 13-inch pitch with a standard stainless steel 3-blade propeller with high-quality workmanship and unswept blade shapes for optimum water bite. The SSP may be designed and cast with thinner blades, blades that are cupped to provide higher performance because stainless steel is five times stronger than aluminum. A stainless steel propeller's job is to lift the stern vertically and provide power. If a circumstance arises when this must be done immediately, having stainless steel propellers that can fulfill this duty as rapidly as feasible will be essential. In a short period, stainless steel propellers will accelerate to full speed.
