Overview
The Vimar Eikon 20083 is a 2-pole key-operated 1-way switch for 250 V AC circuits, rated at 16 A and built as a 1-module device in the Eikon system. The key can be removed in both positions, which is useful when a circuit should not be left under normal switch access. It is also rated for self-ballasted lamps up to 200 W.
This is a flush-mounted mechanism with snap fastening and screw terminals for 1.5 to 4 mm2 conductors. The body is thermoplastic and halogen-free, with a matt finish, a front label space, and overall dimensions of 22.3 x 49 x 43.5 mm with a built-in depth of 33.5 mm.
On a boat, this format belongs in protected interior spaces such as cabin panels, utility lockers, or enclosed helm cabinetry where a keyed AC switch is needed. It is not the right choice for exposed deck locations, open cockpits, or other areas that see regular spray or washdowns.

Variants
This range changes in two ways: finish color and key format. The listed versions are available in grey, silver, or white, and each finish can be ordered with either a standard key or a 000 unified key.
The switching format stays the same across the listed variants: 2-pole, 1-way, 16 A at 250 V AC, with the key removable in both positions. What changes is the visible finish and the keying format used with the switch.
Installation and fit
This mechanism is made for flush mounting and snaps into the correct Eikon support system. It should be paired with the matching frame and installation accessories before ordering for a refit or a new panel build.
The built-in depth matters when space behind the panel is limited. On board, that is worth checking before fitting the switch into slim joinery, liners, or enclosed console panels where cable bends and terminal clearance can get tight.
Use on board
This switch suits boats that use interior AC distribution and need a keyed on and off function for a specific circuit. It also fits projects where the rest of the cabin or service-panel hardware already uses the Eikon platform, so the switch can match the rest of the installation without changing the mounting system.
Shipping
We ship worldwide from the United States. Rates are calculated at checkout based on destination and package weight. Some items include free shipping, which will show automatically. Not every product is eligible for international shipping; checkout will confirm eligibility. We do not ship to PO Boxes except through USPS, and not all packages qualify.

Most orders are verified, packed, and handed to the carrier within 1 to 2 business days. Some products may need extra handling time or ship directly from the manufacturer. For certain international orders, inventory transfers between warehouses may add time. If any delay is expected, we will let you know the dispatch date.

Quality Boat Parts is a reseller. Many items include a manufacturer’s warranty, and all warranty service is handled directly by the manufacturer. We do not manage or administer warranty claims on behalf of customers.
Warranty terms, coverage, and duration are set by each manufacturer. Issues involving defects, repairs, or replacements must be addressed with the manufacturer’s support team. When available, the warranty period is listed on the product page. If it is not shown, contact us or the manufacturer for details before purchasing.
To start a claim, the customer must contact the manufacturer and follow their process. Keep your proof of purchase and original packaging, and register the product if the manufacturer requires it, as these are often needed for warranty service.
We are happy to help you find the right contact or documentation, but we cannot decide outcomes or intervene in claim resolutions. For guidance, email cs@qualityboatparts.com.
