Overview
The Lumitec 111831 is a GAI2 Spectrum positionable utility light with a heavy-duty base and a white housing, with full-color RGBW output plus a 5000K white channel.
It runs on 10-30V DC for 12V and 24V systems, draws about 430 mA at 12V (250 mA at 24V), and is rated 6 W with up to 340 lumens and a CRI of 70+. The housing is sealed to an IP67 rating and is specified for -31°F to 131°F (-35°C to 55°C), so it holds up in wet areas where spray, washdowns, and vibration are part of the routine.
The adjustable head lets you put light where you need it in a berth, nav station, cockpit, or workbench area without relocating the fixture. This makes sense for owners who want one light that covers task lighting and color scenes on the same circuit.
Key features
- Spectrum RGBW output with a 5000K white channel for task lighting and color effects
- Up to 340 lumens at 6 W for light that stays bright and focused
- 10-30V DC input supports both 12V and 24V onboard electrical systems
- Approximate draw of 430 mA at 12V and 250 mA at 24V for circuit planning
- IP67 sealed housing for exposed mounting locations and routine washdowns
- Timed Toggled Protocol (TTP) built in for dimming and color control using a standard on-off switch
- Third Party Dimmer Compatibility (3PD) for use with many external dimmers on the power feed
- PLI enabled for integration with Lumitec digital lighting control systems
Installation and setup
This is a surface-mount fixture that fastens to a mounting plate and then locks in place with a twist, which helps keep the base tight in high-vibration spots. Plan a wire pass-through behind the base and leave enough slack so the head can articulate without tugging on the conductors.
For fit checks, the fixture footprint is about 2.53 in (6.42 cm) in diameter. Carefully seal any penetrations when mounting on deckhouse panels or in areas that see spray, and route wiring with drip loops where water may run.
Electrical and control notes
Wire it like a standard two-wire DC light on a switched circuit, and size the fuse and wire gauge for the load and run length. If you are using external dimming or a lighting control module, confirm the control method matches TTP, 3PD, or PLI features in your system layout before you button up the panels.

Processing and dispatch
Most orders are verified, packed, and handed to the carrier within 1 to 2 business days. Some products may need extra handling time or ship directly from the manufacturer. For certain international orders, inventory transfers between warehouses may add time. If any delay is expected, we will let you know the dispatch date.
Delivery and tracking
Deliveries are handled by trusted carriers such as USPS, UPS, FedEx, and DHL. Estimated arrival times appear at checkout and depend on your location and the service you choose. These are estimates and can be affected by customs or carrier disruptions. A shipping confirmation with a tracking link is emailed when your order ships, and tracking may take up to 24 hours to update. You can also view tracking in your account.
Duties, taxes, and support
International customers are responsible for any customs duties, taxes, and fees charged by the destination country. If these charges are refused and a shipment returns to us, the carrier’s return cost and any re-entry customs fees will be deducted from the refund. If your order is late or you need help, contact cs@qualityboatparts.com and we will assist you.
Quality Boat Parts is a reseller. Many items include a manufacturer’s warranty, and all warranty service is handled directly by the manufacturer. We do not manage or administer warranty claims on behalf of customers.
Warranty terms, coverage, and duration are set by each manufacturer. Issues involving defects, repairs, or replacements must be addressed with the manufacturer’s support team. When available, the warranty period is listed on the product page. If it is not shown, contact us or the manufacturer for details before purchasing.
To start a claim, the customer must contact the manufacturer and follow their process. Keep your proof of purchase and original packaging, and register the product if the manufacturer requires it, as these are often needed for warranty service.
We are happy to help you find the right contact or documentation, but we cannot decide outcomes or intervene in claim resolutions. For guidance, email cs@qualityboatparts.com.
