Overview
The Jabsco 35760 Series is a DC flangemount continuous-duty 4 inch blower for boat ventilation systems that need steady air movement through engine spaces, bilges, and enclosed machinery areas. It moves 250 CFM, or 7.0 m³/min, and is offered in 12 VDC and 24 VDC versions so it can match the vessel’s electrical system without changing the basic blower configuration.
This is the flangemount version, with the discharge side secured to a flat bulkhead or panel and the inlet connected to 4 inch ducting. The 35760 Series uses a reinforced thermoset plastic housing, corrosion-resistant materials throughout, and a motor rated for 5,000 hours, making it a practical fit for demanding ventilation duty on gasoline-powered boats and other marine installations where air exchange is not just occasional.
Key features
- 250 CFM airflow, equal to 7.0 m³/min, for moving fumes and warm air out of enclosed spaces.
- Continuous-duty DC operation for ventilation setups that run longer than short pre-start blower cycles.
- Flangemount housing fastens directly to a flat surface, helping keep duct runs simple and secure.
- 4 inch duct connection with slip-on inlet ducting for common marine ventilation layouts.
- Reinforced thermoset plastic housing with corrosion-resistant materials throughout for use in damp marine compartments.
- 5,000-hour motor rating for heavy service applications.
- Meets USCG regulation 183.410 and ISO 8846 marine ignition protection requirements.
- NMMA type accepted and compliant with ISO 9097 Marine, EN 60945, EN 61000-6-1, and EN 61000-6-3.
Variants
The 35760 Series is offered in two voltage configurations. Both variants are flangemount 4 inch blowers with the same 250 CFM airflow rating and 6 lb, or 2.72 kg, weight.
The voltage, current draw, and recommended fuse size change between the two versions, so the correct variant depends on the boat’s DC system and the circuit protection planned for the installation.
- 35760-0092: Voltage 12 VDC. This version draws 11 amps and uses a 15 amp fuse, making it the match for 12 volt DC ventilation circuits.
- 35760-0094: Voltage 24 VDC. This version draws 6 amps and uses a 10 amp fuse, making it the match for 24 volt DC ventilation circuits.
Installation and setup
The blower should be mounted on a flat bulkhead surface in the upper part of the compartment, away from spray and deck wash. For flangemount installation, the bulkhead cutout is 3-5/8 inches, and the blower is secured with washers and No. 10 screws tightened evenly to avoid stressing the flange.
The inlet ducting should be routed with as few bends as practical and led toward the lower third of the bilge or engine compartment, where gasoline vapors may collect. The pickup should remain below the top of the engine stringers but high enough that it will not be submerged in bilge water.
Electrical and system integration
For wire runs up to 25 ft, the 12 VDC version uses 12 gauge marine-grade copper wire, while the 24 VDC version uses 14 gauge marine-grade copper wire. Longer runs call for larger wire to limit voltage drop. The positive side of the circuit should include a rated on-off switch, and the circuit must be fuse protected according to the selected voltage variant.
This blower suits boats that need a dedicated engine room or bilge ventilation blower with verified ignition protection and a flange-style mounting layout. It is especially relevant for refits where the existing ducting is 4 inch and the installation calls for a blower that can be secured directly to a flat surface rather than suspended in-line.
Shipping
We ship worldwide from the United States. Rates are calculated at checkout based on destination and package weight. Some items include free shipping, which will show automatically. Not every product is eligible for international shipping; checkout will confirm eligibility. We do not ship to PO Boxes except through USPS, and not all packages qualify.
Processing and dispatch
Most orders are verified, packed, and handed to the carrier within 1 to 2 business days. Some products may need extra handling time or ship directly from the manufacturer. For certain international orders, inventory transfers between warehouses may add time. If any delay is expected, we will let you know the dispatch date.
Delivery and tracking
Deliveries are handled by trusted carriers such as USPS, UPS, FedEx, and DHL. Estimated arrival times appear at checkout and depend on your location and the service you choose. These are estimates and can be affected by customs or carrier disruptions. A shipping confirmation with a tracking link is emailed when your order ships, and tracking may take up to 24 hours to update. You can also view tracking in your account.
Duties, taxes, and support
International customers are responsible for any customs duties, taxes, and fees charged by the destination country. If these charges are refused and a shipment returns to us, the carrier’s return cost and any re-entry customs fees will be deducted from the refund. If your order is late or you need help, contact cs@qualityboatparts.com and we will assist you.
Quality Boat Parts is a reseller. Many items include a manufacturer’s warranty, and all warranty service is handled directly by the manufacturer. We do not manage or administer warranty claims on behalf of customers.
Warranty terms, coverage, and duration are set by each manufacturer. Issues involving defects, repairs, or replacements must be addressed with the manufacturer’s support team. When available, the warranty period is listed on the product page. If it is not shown, contact us or the manufacturer for details before purchasing.
To start a claim, the customer must contact the manufacturer and follow their process. Keep your proof of purchase and original packaging, and register the product if the manufacturer requires it, as these are often needed for warranty service.
