Overview
The Vimar Eikon 20346 is a 1-module HDMI 2.1b socket outlet for flush-mounted installations where you want a clean HDMI connection at the panel face. It uses Keystone fixing and an IP20 insert, which makes it suited to protected interior spaces rather than exposed areas on deck.
For boat refits and new builds, this type of insert works well where an HDMI feed needs to be brought to a finished panel in the cabin, saloon, chart table, or an enclosed helm console. The body is plastic with halogen-free thermoplastic construction and a matt surface, so it fits neatly into modern switch and outlet layouts without adding a separate external adapter.
Key features
- HDMI 2.1b socket outlet for bringing an AV connection to a flush-mounted panel
- Keystone fixing in the Vimar Eikon 1-module format
- Flush-mounted insert with plastic housing in halogen-free thermoplastic
- IP20 rating for interior locations that stay dry and protected from spray
- Matt finish options to match different Eikon panel aesthetics
- Range includes versions with a 90° cable outlet where rear clearance is tight
- No dust cover, hinged lid, or support ring integrated into the insert
Variants
This range is offered in grey, silver, and white finishes, with outlet angles listed as either 60° or 90° depending on the version. That lets the visible insert match the surrounding Eikon hardware while also changing how the cable exits behind the panel.
The 90° versions are the practical choice where the cavity behind a bulkhead, console, or furniture panel is shallow and the HDMI lead needs to turn quickly after connection. Across the range, the family stays within the same Eikon device platform with HDMI 2.1b connectivity and Keystone fixing.
Installation and fit
This insert is made for flush-mounted use and occupies one module position in a compatible Eikon setup. Before ordering for a marine installation, check the matching support hardware, plate system, and the space behind the panel, especially if the outlet will sit inside a helm pod, media cabinet, or liner where cable bend radius can become the limiting factor.
Because the insert is rated IP20 and does not include a protective cover, it belongs in a dry interior location. It is not the right choice for an open cockpit coaming, a washdown zone, or another area that regularly sees spray, condensation, or direct weather exposure.
Use on board
This is a good match for boats that use cabin TVs, media boxes, onboard PCs, or similar HDMI equipment and want a tidy connection point built into the finish panel. It also suits projects where the electrical and AV hardware need to stay visually consistent with the rest of the Vimar Eikon switching devices already fitted on board.

Quality Boat Parts is a reseller. Many items include a manufacturer’s warranty, and all warranty service is handled directly by the manufacturer. We do not manage or administer warranty claims on behalf of customers.
Warranty terms, coverage, and duration are set by each manufacturer. Issues involving defects, repairs, or replacements must be addressed with the manufacturer’s support team. When available, the warranty period is listed on the product page. If it is not shown, contact us or the manufacturer for details before purchasing.
To start a claim, the customer must contact the manufacturer and follow their process. Keep your proof of purchase and original packaging, and register the product if the manufacturer requires it, as these are often needed for warranty service.
We are happy to help you find the right contact or documentation, but we cannot decide outcomes or intervene in claim resolutions. For guidance, email cs@qualityboatparts.com.
