Overview
The Vimar Eikon is a two outlet English standard socket assembly with two 2P 1-way switches, rated 13 A at 250 V, and supplied with a built-in frame for 5-module British standard installation. At 144 x 82.5 mm with a 29.5 mm depth, it suits panels where you need two switched outlets in one flush-mounted position.
For marine interiors, this works best in dry accommodation spaces where British plug compatibility matters, such as a cabin, galley, or saloon. The indicator unit makes the switches easier to spot in low light, the screw terminals suit fixed wiring, and the IP20 housing points it toward sheltered locations rather than spray-prone or washdown areas.

Variants
This outlet is offered in three color configurations.
Across the range, the electrical layout stays the same: two switched English standard 2P+E 13 A 250 V outlets, two 2P 1-way switches, indicator lighting, screw terminals, and a built-in frame for 5-module British standard installation. The visible finish is what changes between variants.
- VM20222.L.B: Color White. This keeps the appearance light against white joinery, light liners, or painted bulkheads.
- VM20222.L.N: Color Silver. This gives a metallic look that works with stainless trim and contemporary interiors.
- VM20222.L: Color Grey. This gives a darker appearance on charcoal panels and tends to hide everyday scuffs more easily.
Compatibility and fit
This unit is made for a British standard mounting format and uses a 5-module layout. It is flush-mounted with screw fastening and is intended to be completed with a matching 5-module British standard cover plate, so it is worth checking the mounting box, trim system, and available panel space before ordering.
It suits boats that distribute AC power through English standard outlets and need two separately switched sockets in one location. That can make sense at a berth-side charging point, in a galley face panel, or at a navigation area where more than one appliance may be plugged in at the same time.
Installation and use on board
Because the housing is IP20, this is an interior fitting for dry spaces, not for cockpits, open decks, anchor lockers, or other areas that see salt spray or hose-down cleaning. For installers, the screw terminals and built-in frame keep the job close to standard fixed wiring practice, while the label space can help when circuits need clear identification.
This is a good match for yachts, motor cruisers, and refit projects that use British standard accessories and want a tidy two outlet arrangement without adding separate switch modules elsewhere on the panel.

Quality Boat Parts is a reseller. Many items include a manufacturer’s warranty, and all warranty service is handled directly by the manufacturer. We do not manage or administer warranty claims on behalf of customers.
Warranty terms, coverage, and duration are set by each manufacturer. Issues involving defects, repairs, or replacements must be addressed with the manufacturer’s support team. When available, the warranty period is listed on the product page. If it is not shown, contact us or the manufacturer for details before purchasing.
To start a claim, the customer must contact the manufacturer and follow their process. Keep your proof of purchase and original packaging, and register the product if the manufacturer requires it, as these are often needed for warranty service.
