Overview
The Lumishore ECLIPSE Flood Light is an above-water LED flood light range for adding white task lighting to exterior areas on a boat. It is used for deck lighting, cockpit visibility, transom coverage, work areas, and security lighting around cabin tops, T-tops, arches, radar pedestals, and similar mounting points.
Confirmed versions in this range use white 5500 K output, a 70° to 90° oval beam, IP68 ingress protection, and a 10.5 to 31 V DC supply range for 12 V and 24 V DC systems. The 4 in configurations deliver 1,500 fixture lumens, while the 18 in configuration delivers 10,000 fixture lumens for larger exterior areas.
Key features
- White 5500 K LED output gives a clean working light for deck, cockpit, transom, and dockside visibility.
- 4 in configurations deliver 1,500 fixture lumens; the 18 in configuration delivers 10,000 fixture lumens for wider exterior coverage.
- Runs on 10.5 to 31 V DC, so it suits both 12 V and 24 V DC boat electrical systems.
- 70° to 90° oval beam spreads light across usable deck area instead of forming a tight spot.
- IP68 ingress protection supports exterior mounting locations exposed to rain, spray, and washdowns.
- Powder-coated aluminum body with a frosted lens for use in demanding marine environments.
- Simple 2-wire connection for basic switching, with 3-wire installation when used with ECLIPSE Command Center or EOS-LUX Command Center.
- Dimming control is available with compatible switching or Lumishore control hardware.
Variants
The ECLIPSE Flood Light is offered here in several configurations that change the finish, size, and mounting fit. These differences affect how the light looks on the boat, how it mounts, and how much area it can cover.
Across the confirmed configurations, the range keeps the same white light character, 10.5 to 31 V DC electrical range, IP68 protection, and 70° to 90° oval beam pattern. Output changes with size, with the 4 in versions rated at 1,500 fixture lumens and the 18 in version rated at 10,000 fixture lumens.
- 010-04499-00: White finish, 4 in size, flush fit. This version sits close to the mounting surface for a cleaner look on cabin tops, T-tops, arches, transoms, or radar pedestals.
- 010-04632-00: Black finish, 4 in size, flush fit. The black finish suits darker hardtops, arches, and trim areas while keeping the low-profile flush installation.
- 010-04460-00: White finish, 18 in size, bracket fit. The longer body and bracket mount suit larger exterior areas where more output and aimable mounting are useful.
- 010-04631-00: Black finish, 4 in size, bracket fit. This version suits darker mounting surfaces where an adjustable bracket installation is preferred over a flush fit.
Installation and setup
The flush-fit 4 in versions are made for installations where the light should sit close to the surface and keep protrusion low. The bracket-fit versions are better suited to mounting points where the light needs to be aimed after installation, such as an arch, hardtop, transom, or radar pedestal.
For basic operation, the light can be wired with a simple 2-wire connection and controlled by a suitable third-party on/off switch. When connected to an ECLIPSE Command Center or EOS-LUX Command Center, a 3-wire installation is used to support expanded control functions.
Electrical and control integration
The 10.5 to 31 V DC input range makes the ECLIPSE Flood Light practical for common 12 V and 24 V DC marine systems. The 4 in models draw up to 1.7 A at 12 V or 0.9 A at 24 V, while the 18 in model draws up to 9.2 A at 12 V or 4.6 A at 24 V, so circuit protection and cable sizing should be matched to the selected configuration.
Control can be kept simple with an on/off switch, or expanded through compatible Lumishore control hardware for dimming and zone-based lighting control. This makes the range useful for straightforward flood lighting as well as boats with a more integrated lighting system.
Use cases on board
The 4 in versions are a good match for smaller working zones, companionway approaches, cockpit corners, transoms, and hardtop lighting where a compact flood light is enough. The 18 in version suits larger cockpits, aft decks, fishing work areas, and exterior spaces where broader coverage and higher output matter.
For boats that run at night, fish after dark, load gear dockside, or need better deck visibility at anchor, this range gives practical white light without moving into color-changing flood lighting.
Maintenance and care
Use fresh water, mild soap, and a soft cloth for routine cleaning. Avoid chemical cleaners and pressure washing, and inspect the fixture and wiring regularly as part of normal marine electrical maintenance.
Shipping
We ship worldwide from the United States. Rates are calculated at checkout based on destination and package weight. Some items include free shipping, which will show automatically. Not every product is eligible for international shipping; checkout will confirm eligibility. We do not ship to PO Boxes except through USPS, and not all packages qualify.

International customers are responsible for any customs duties, taxes, and fees charged by the destination country. If these charges are refused and a shipment returns to us, the carrier’s return cost and any re-entry customs fees will be deducted from the refund. If your order is late or you need help, contact cs@qualityboatparts.com and we will assist you.
Quality Boat Parts is a reseller. Many items include a manufacturer’s warranty, and all warranty service is handled directly by the manufacturer. We do not manage or administer warranty claims on behalf of customers.
Warranty terms, coverage, and duration are set by each manufacturer. Issues involving defects, repairs, or replacements must be addressed with the manufacturer’s support team. When available, the warranty period is listed on the product page. If it is not shown, contact us or the manufacturer for details before purchasing.
To start a claim, the customer must contact the manufacturer and follow their process. Keep your proof of purchase and original packaging, and register the product if the manufacturer requires it, as these are often needed for warranty service.
We are happy to help you find the right contact or documentation, but we cannot decide outcomes or intervene in claim resolutions. For guidance, email cs@qualityboatparts.com.
