Overview
The Raymarine T70429 is a Raymarine Axiom XL 22 multifunction display kit for large helm, glass bridge, and multi-station navigation systems. It pairs a 21.5-inch Full HD IPS touchscreen with 1920 x 1080 resolution, 24-bit color, and a wide 89 degree viewing angle, giving the helm a large chartplotter display that remains readable from different seated and standing positions.
This kit suits open cockpits and enclosed bridge stations where the display may be tied into radar, sonar, cameras, autopilot, engine data, and onboard control systems. It supports both 12V and 24V DC installations, operates across an 8 to 32 V DC range, and carries IPx6 and IPx7 water ingress ratings for exposed marine locations.
The Axiom XL 22 runs Raymarine LightHouse and can work as a stand-alone command display or as part of a wider Raymarine network. Three RayNet Ethernet ports, HDMI input and output, NMEA 2000, NMEA 0183, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, analog video, and remote card reader support give installers the connection options normally needed at a modern bridge.
Key features
- 21.5-inch IPS multi-touch display with Full HD 1920 x 1080 resolution, 1275 nit illumination, 24-bit color, and 16:9 aspect ratio.
- IPx6 and IPx7 water ingress ratings support installation in exposed cockpit positions as well as protected helm stations.
- 12V and 24V DC system support, with an 8 to 32 V DC operating range and 15 A fuse rating.
- Three PoE RayNet Ethernet ports connect compatible radar, sonar modules, cameras, and additional Axiom family displays.
- HDMI input and HDMI output allow connection to a remote PC, external monitor, or below-deck display setup.
- NMEA 2000 connection through DeviceNet and NMEA 0183 ports support integration with compatible marine instruments and data sources.
- Analog video inputs and IP camera support allow up to four video streams for views of the engine room, cockpit, deck, or surrounding water.
- Built-in dual-band Wi-Fi and Bluetooth support mobile app use, wireless functions, and compatible audio or alarm connections.
- Remote chart card reader support keeps chart access practical when the display is flush mounted into a helm panel.
Installation and setup
The Axiom XL 22 is made for flush or surface mounting, so it can be integrated into a large helm panel or fitted where panel depth and service access allow. The display measures 533.56 mm wide, 326.33 mm high, and 180.75 mm deep including cables, with a weight of 9.9 kg. Those dimensions are important when planning cutouts, cable bends, ventilation space, and access behind the dash.
Power should be supplied through properly sized marine wiring with the required 15 A fuse or breaker. The kit includes the power, video, and NMEA 0183 cable along with mounting hardware, gasket material, and related installation parts, which helps keep the core installation package together for refits and new helm builds.
Electrical and system integration
This display works well as the central screen in a navigation network because it can bring several systems into one helm view. RayNet Ethernet can be used for compatible radar, sonar, IP camera, and display networking, while NMEA 2000 and NMEA 0183 cover common instrument and data connections. The LEN value is 1 for NMEA 2000 planning.
For boats that use cameras, digital switching, or a remote computer at the helm, the HDMI and video connections add flexibility beyond basic chartplotter use. A captain can keep charting, radar, camera views, and system information close at hand without crowding the helm with several unrelated screens.
Use cases on board
The Axiom XL 22 is a strong fit for cruisers, sportfishing boats, larger center consoles, pilothouse boats, and yacht bridges where screen size, network expansion, and camera visibility matter. It is especially useful when the helm needs one main display for charting, radar overlay, sonar module data, autopilot control, and onboard monitoring.
Its large screen size is also helpful for split-screen work, such as running charts beside radar or keeping a camera view open while navigating in tight quarters. On long runs, the wide viewing angle makes it easier for more than one person at the helm to read the display without standing directly in front of it.

Shipping
We ship worldwide from the United States. Rates are calculated at checkout based on destination and package weight. Some items include free shipping, which will show automatically. Not every product is eligible for international shipping; checkout will confirm eligibility. We do not ship to PO Boxes except through USPS, and not all packages qualify.

These are estimates and can be affected by customs or carrier disruptions. A shipping confirmation with a tracking link is emailed when your order ships, and tracking may take up to 24 hours to update. You can also view tracking in your account.
Duties, taxes, and support
International customers are responsible for any customs duties, taxes, and fees charged by the destination country. If these charges are refused and a shipment returns to us, the carrier’s return cost and any re-entry customs fees will be deducted from the refund. If your order is late or you need help, contact cs@qualityboatparts.com and we will assist you.
Quality Boat Parts is a reseller. Many items include a manufacturer’s warranty, and all warranty service is handled directly by the manufacturer. We do not manage or administer warranty claims on behalf of customers.
Warranty terms, coverage, and duration are set by each manufacturer. Issues involving defects, repairs, or replacements must be addressed with the manufacturer’s support team. When available, the warranty period is listed on the product page. If it is not shown, contact us or the manufacturer for details before purchasing.
To start a claim, the customer must contact the manufacturer and follow their process. Keep your proof of purchase and original packaging, and register the product if the manufacturer requires it, as these are often needed for warranty service.
We are happy to help you find the right contact or documentation, but we cannot decide outcomes or intervene in claim resolutions. For guidance, email cs@qualityboatparts.com.
