Overview
The TACO Marine F16-1200-2 is a 4-pack of stamped stainless-steel eye straps for adding small, secure clip points around a boat. Also known as camel backs, these fittings are used where a hook, snap, clip, light line, canvas tie-down, or small gear-retention point needs a fixed attachment.
Each eye strap is made from Type-304 stainless steel with a polished finish and a 1/2" opening diameter. Per-piece dimensions are 2" long, 3/8" wide, and 11/16" high, so they fit easily in tight spots on deck hardware layouts, canvas frames, lockers, cockpit areas, and other marine rigging locations where space matters.
Key features
- Stamped stainless-steel eye straps for adding low-profile clip points on boats
- Type-304 stainless steel construction with a polished finish for marine hardware use
- 1/2" opening diameter works with many common clips, snaps, and light-duty fastening points
- Compact per-piece size of 2" long, 3/8" wide, and 11/16" high helps with tight mounting locations
- Supplied as a 4-pack for multi-point installations or replacement work
- Covered by a 5-year limited warranty
Installation and use
These eye straps are meant for surface mounting where a small fixed attachment point is needed. They are commonly used for bimini and canvas hardware, securing loose gear, clipping small accessories in place, or adding tie-down points in cockpit, deck, console, and storage areas.
Before mounting, check that the chosen location has enough backing strength for the intended load and that the clip or snap being used fits through the 1/2" opening. Fasteners are not specified, so match the mounting screws and backing method to the boat surface, load, and exposure.
Materials and care
Type-304 stainless steel gives this hardware a clean polished look and good service life for general marine use. In saltwater areas, a freshwater rinse and routine cleaning help reduce surface staining and keep the finish looking right alongside other deck and canvas hardware.
Good match on board
This 4-pack suits boat owners, riggers, and canvas shops adding multiple small attachment points during a repair, refit, or custom canvas installation. It is a practical choice when the job calls for compact stainless hardware rather than bulky pad eyes or larger deck fittings.

Quality Boat Parts is a reseller. Many items include a manufacturer’s warranty, and all warranty service is handled directly by the manufacturer. We do not manage or administer warranty claims on behalf of customers.
Warranty terms, coverage, and duration are set by each manufacturer. Issues involving defects, repairs, or replacements must be addressed with the manufacturer’s support team. When available, the warranty period is listed on the product page. If it is not shown, contact us or the manufacturer for details before purchasing.
To start a claim, the customer must contact the manufacturer and follow their process. Keep your proof of purchase and original packaging, and register the product if the manufacturer requires it, as these are often needed for warranty service.
