Overview

The Attwood Marine 1733-4 is a 12V in-line bilge blower for 3 inch ventilation hose, used to move air through engine compartments, bilges, galleys, and heads where moisture is part of the environment.

This is the water-resistant version in white. It is rated at 145 CFM open flow at 13.6 V, with 100 CFM in a typical installed system, and it draws about 3.1 amps with a 4-amp fuse. The blower is ignition protected and mounts in-line with built-in feet, so it can be fitted vertically or horizontally when space around the duct run is limited.

Key features
  • Fits 3 inch I.D. ventilation hose for common bilge blower replacement work
  • 12V DC operation with 145 CFM open flow and 100 CFM in-system airflow
  • Water-resistant construction with a motor cap that seals the wires and motor
  • Ignition-protected housing for ventilated spaces that can collect fuel vapors
  • Built-in mounting feet support vertical or horizontal installation
  • Nickel-plated motor can helps resist corrosion in damp marine spaces
  • Tabs at the intake and exhaust help keep hose and clamp seated
  • 16-gauge tinned copper wire leads and two tie straps are included
Installation and fit

This blower installs in a 3 inch duct run and mounts with #10 fasteners. The in-line body works well in transom, under-deck, and other confined spaces where hose routing leaves little room around the blower itself.

It is a sensible match for owners replacing an older 3 inch blower on a 12V system or adding forced ventilation to enclosed spaces on board. Water-resistant construction suits damp locations, but this model should not be installed where it will sit in direct contact with water or other liquids.

Electrical and system integration

For buyers checking system fit, this blower is for 12V DC wiring and a 3 inch ventilation layout. The published airflow figure is measured at 13.6 V, so real output on board will depend on hose length, bends, vents, and other restrictions in the run.

That makes it a good fit for boats that already use 3 inch ducting and need a like-for-like replacement without changing hose size, mounting direction, or basic electrical setup.

Shipping
We ship worldwide from the United States. Rates are calculated at checkout based on destination and package weight. Some items include free shipping, which will show automatically. Not every product is eligible for international shipping; checkout will confirm eligibility. We do not ship to PO Boxes except through USPS, and not all packages qualify.

Processing and dispatch
Most orders are verified, packed, and handed to the carrier within 1 to 2 business days. Some products may need extra handling time or ship directly from the manufacturer. For certain international orders, inventory transfers between warehouses may add time. If any delay is expected, we will let you know the dispatch date.

Delivery and tracking
Deliveries are handled by trusted carriers such as USPS, UPS, FedEx, and DHL. Estimated arrival times appear at checkout and depend on your location and the service you choose. These are estimates and can be affected by customs or carrier disruptions. A shipping confirmation with a tracking link is emailed when your order ships, and tracking may take up to 24 hours to update. You can also view tracking in your account.

Quality Boat Parts is a reseller. Many items include a manufacturer’s warranty, and all warranty service is handled directly by the manufacturer. We do not manage or administer warranty claims on behalf of customers.

Warranty terms, coverage, and duration are set by each manufacturer. Issues involving defects, repairs, or replacements must be addressed with the manufacturer’s support team. When available, the warranty period is listed on the product page. If it is not shown, contact us or the manufacturer for details before purchasing.

To start a claim, the customer must contact the manufacturer and follow their process. Keep your proof of purchase and original packaging, and register the product if the manufacturer requires it, as these are often needed for warranty service.

We are happy to help you find the right contact or documentation, but we cannot decide outcomes or intervene in claim resolutions. For guidance, email cs@qualityboatparts.com.
