Overview

The Perko 1365E00BLK is a double-lens white masthead navigation light for vessels over 20 meters in length, with a 225 degree arc and 6-mile visibility. It is built in black fiber-filled polycarbonate and mounts on a horizontal surface, making it a fit for larger commercial boats, workboats, and other vessels that need a full-size masthead light in a regulated navigation light setup.

This is an incandescent fixture with pre-wired medium prefocus sockets, watertight terminal tubes, and two 3-foot lengths of 16/2-SO cable. It accepts 24, 120, or 220 volt bulbs depending on the lamp installed, and bulbs are not included.

The housing stands 17-1/4 inches overall with a 6-3/4 inch lens height, so it is worth checking clearance at the masthead platform or mounting pad before replacing an older unit. A watertight access cap also makes routine bulb changes and cleaning more straightforward once the light is in service.

Key features
  • White masthead light with a 225 degree visibility arc and 6-mile rating
  • Built for vessels over 20 meters (65.6 feet) in length
  • Black fiber-filled polycarbonate housing with watertight access cap for rebulbing and cleaning
  • Pre-wired medium prefocus sockets with two 3-foot 16/2-SO cable leads through watertight terminal tubes
  • Works with 24, 120, or 220 volt lamps when fitted with the correct bulb
  • Horizontal-surface mount with four 3/8 inch mounting holes spaced 5-15/64 inches on center
Installation and setup

This light is intended for horizontal mounting and should be aligned so the fore-and-aft marks on the housing run parallel with the vessel centerline. On refits, the base drilling pattern and the overall height are the main points to compare against the existing mounting location.

Because the fixture may be wired for 24 volt, 120 volt, or 220 volt service depending on the lamp fitted, voltage matching matters during installation and maintenance. This is a good match for boats with an established commercial navigation light system where the correct masthead position, arc, and lamp selection are already defined.

Compatibility and fit

This unit suits larger boats that need a dedicated white masthead light rather than a small-craft combination or plug-in light. It is especially relevant on commercial craft, utility boats, and larger yachts operating with an over-20-meter navigation light arrangement.

For buyers replacing an existing Fig. 1365 light or another full-size masthead fixture, the key checks are mounting surface orientation, bolt pattern, supply voltage, and the space available for a 17-1/4 inch tall housing. Those details matter more here than cosmetic differences, since this is a function-first navigation light built around visibility and compliance.

Quality Boat Parts is a reseller. Many items include a manufacturer’s warranty, and all warranty service is handled directly by the manufacturer. We do not manage or administer warranty claims on behalf of customers.

Warranty terms, coverage, and duration are set by each manufacturer. Issues involving defects, repairs, or replacements must be addressed with the manufacturer’s support team. When available, the warranty period is listed on the product page. If it is not shown, contact us or the manufacturer for details before purchasing.

To start a claim, the customer must contact the manufacturer and follow their process. Keep your proof of purchase and original packaging, and register the product if the manufacturer requires it, as these are often needed for warranty service.

We are happy to help you find the right contact or documentation, but we cannot decide outcomes or intervene in claim resolutions. For guidance, email cs@qualityboatparts.com.
