Installation and everyday use

Before installing the cover, wipe any grit or dried salt off the screen and bezel so it does not rub against the face. Press the cover on evenly, and remove it before powering up and operating the chartplotter. If the boat is stored outdoors, a quick fresh-water rinse of the cover now and then helps keep salt and dust from building up.

Maintenance and care

Rinse with fresh water after saltwater exposure and let it dry before long-term storage. Avoid harsh solvents and abrasive pads that can scuff the cover and transfer marks to the display area.
