Overview

The Lumishore 010-04486-00 is a lighting command center that lets you group ECLIPSE lights into three controllable zones and run them from a compatible MFD, a phone or tablet over Wi-Fi, or simple momentary switches. It runs on 12V DC only (10 to 15V) and supports up to 10A per zone, 30A total, with an IP67-rated enclosure for spray and washdowns.

It is a good match when you want the boat's lighting to behave like a single system instead of separate circuits, whether you are setting up new ECLIPSE fixtures or cleaning up an older install with multiple dimmers and relays.

Key features
  • 12V DC input only with an operating range of 10 to 15V
  • Three lighting zones with up to 10A per zone (30A total load across the controller)
  • Expansion support to add up to three additional zones with add-on modules
  • IP67 housing for installation in areas that see spray and routine washdowns
  • Control from compatible MFDs via Ethernet, from a smart device over built-in Wi-Fi, or from hardwired momentary switches
  • Switch feedback output supports illuminated switches or status indicators for each zone
  • Built-in protection for surge events, low-voltage conditions, and reverse polarity wiring
  • Audio input for sound-to-light effects when used with compatible RGBW underwater lights
Installation and setup

Mount the unit on a flat surface in a dry location where you can route a dedicated 12V feed and keep cable runs tidy. Keep it away from heat sources and spots that see constant vibration.

Plan your power feed and overcurrent protection around the connected lighting load. The controller supports up to 30A total across three zones, and each zone is limited to 10A, so wiring and fusing should be sized to the load and the cable run.

Compatibility and integration

This controller is for 12V electrical systems and operates between 10 and 15V at the unit. On 24V boats, a properly sized 24-to-12V DC converter is required to supply stable voltage under load.

For helm control, connect through the Ethernet port and follow the network cabling requirements for your display brand. Wi-Fi control is handy during commissioning or when you want to adjust lighting while moving around the boat.

Use cases on board

Three-zone control works well for separating areas like the transom, cockpit, and hardtop, while still keeping quick access at the helm. It also suits refits where you want consistent dimming and color control across multiple ECLIPSE light types without adding separate drivers for each zone.

Maintenance and care

Support and secure the wiring so connectors do not carry strain, especially in lockers where gear gets stored. If the unit is mounted where washdowns are common, check seals and cable entries periodically.

Leave service access for the SD card slot so firmware updates can be done without removing the controller.

Quality Boat Parts is a reseller. Many items include a manufacturer’s warranty, and all warranty service is handled directly by the manufacturer. We do not manage or administer warranty claims on behalf of customers.

Warranty terms, coverage, and duration are set by each manufacturer. Issues involving defects, repairs, or replacements must be addressed with the manufacturer’s support team. When available, the warranty period is listed on the product page. If it is not shown, contact us or the manufacturer for details before purchasing.

To start a claim, the customer must contact the manufacturer and follow their process. Keep your proof of purchase and original packaging, and register the product if the manufacturer requires it, as these are often needed for warranty service.

We are happy to help you find the right contact or documentation, but we cannot decide outcomes or intervene in claim resolutions. For guidance, email cs@qualityboatparts.com.
