Overview
The Lumishore 010-04442-00 is a LUX light control module used to run compatible Lumishore LUX downlights, courtesy lights, and livewell lights with RGB plus tunable white control. It accepts 10.5 to 31 V DC, so it fits standard 12 V and 24 V boat systems. White tone can be adjusted from 2700K to 6500K for a warmer or cooler look at night.
The housing is IP68-rated, which helps when the module ends up in lockers, under gunwales, or other areas that may see spray or washdowns. It also supports Lumi-Link within the LUX Smart Lighting ecosystem, so it can be integrated into a broader LUX lighting setup.
On the electrical side, it includes protection features like soft-start, reverse polarity protection, surge protection, low-voltage protection, and automatic thermal rollback. ISO 8846 ignition protection is built in for installations where ignition protection is required.

Installation and setup
This module is typically installed inline between your DC supply and the LUX fixtures it will control. Plan the mounting spot so the wiring stays supported and protected from chafe, and leave access for service later. Even with an IP68 housing, it is still worth keeping connectors and cable joins out of standing water and away from areas that stay hot.
Use proper cable support for vibration, add drip loops where cables drop down into compartments, and keep the unit secured so it cannot move and stress the connections underway.
Electrical and system integration
The module itself has a listed maximum current draw of 0.2 A on 12 V DC and 0.1 A on 24 V DC. Size the supply wiring and circuit protection for the complete lighting circuit, including the connected fixtures, and keep grounds clean to avoid flicker or control issues.
If the boat has sensitive electronics nearby, the built-in power line noise suppression helps, but good installation practices still matter: avoid sharing small-gauge feeds with high-load motors and keep cable runs tidy.
Compatibility and fit
This control module is meant for Lumishore LUX lighting products, specifically LUX downlights, courtesy lights, and livewell lights, and it ties into LUX Smart Lighting using Lumi-Link. It is not a general-purpose RGB controller for unrelated lighting types, so matching it to the LUX ecosystem is the key fit check before you buy.
Use cases on board
This setup makes sense when you want consistent color and white-tone control across cabin downlights, step lighting, toe-kick courtesy lights, or livewell lighting without mixing different control systems. It is a good match for boats that already use LUX Smart Lighting and want one module that handles both color and white temperature changes.
Maintenance and care
After installation, keep an eye on cable support and connector condition during routine checks. In saltwater use, a quick fresh-water rinse of the surrounding area after heavy washdowns and periodic inspection for corrosion or loosened fasteners goes a long way toward keeping lighting control trouble-free.
Shipping
We ship worldwide from the United States. Rates are calculated at checkout based on destination and package weight. Some items include free shipping, which will show automatically. Not every product is eligible for international shipping; checkout will confirm eligibility. We do not ship to PO Boxes except through USPS, and not all packages qualify.
Processing and dispatch
Most orders are verified, packed, and handed to the carrier within 1 to 2 business days. Some products may need extra handling time or ship directly from the manufacturer. For certain international orders, inventory transfers between warehouses may add time. If any delay is expected, we will let you know the dispatch date.
Delivery and tracking
Deliveries are handled by trusted carriers such as USPS, UPS, FedEx, and DHL. Estimated arrival times appear at checkout and depend on your location and the service you choose. These are estimates and can be affected by customs or carrier disruptions. A shipping confirmation with a tracking link is emailed when your order ships, and tracking may take up to 24 hours to update. You can also view tracking in your account.
Duties, taxes, and support
International customers are responsible for any customs duties, taxes, and fees charged by the destination country. If these charges are refused and a shipment returns to us, the carrier’s return cost and any re-entry customs fees will be deducted from the refund. If your order is late or you need help, contact cs@qualityboatparts.com and we will assist you.
Quality Boat Parts is a reseller. Many items include a manufacturer’s warranty, and all warranty service is handled directly by the manufacturer. We do not manage or administer warranty claims on behalf of customers.
Warranty terms, coverage, and duration are set by each manufacturer. Issues involving defects, repairs, or replacements must be addressed with the manufacturer’s support team. When available, the warranty period is listed on the product page. If it is not shown, contact us or the manufacturer for details before purchasing.
To start a claim, the customer must contact the manufacturer and follow their process. Keep your proof of purchase and original packaging, and register the product if the manufacturer requires it, as these are often needed for warranty service.
We are happy to help you find the right contact or documentation, but we cannot decide outcomes or intervene in claim resolutions. For guidance, email cs@qualityboatparts.com.
