Overview

The Lumishore 010-14452-00 is a SUPRA 2-Way i-Connect Hub switch that gives you a dash-mounted on/off and momentary control point for SUPRA Series underwater lights when they are connected through an i-Connect Hub.

It is used with SUPRA Series SMX, THX, and TIX lights in an i-Connect setup, where the hub handles power distribution and synchronization and this switch gives you a simple way to run the system from the helm.

The on/off function handles basic lighting power, and the momentary side acts as a mode toggle for features such as white and blue selection, strobe and fade programs, and brightness changes, depending on the hub and light configuration.

Compatibility and fit

This switch is meant for SUPRA i-Connect installations, where the hub provides the switching logic and the switch plugs into the hub as a user control. It is not intended to be wired directly to an underwater light as a standalone on/off switch.

If you are replacing an existing helm switch in a SUPRA i-Connect system, match the switch style and connection at the hub so the control inputs behave the same as before.

Installation and wiring notes

Mount it in a flat dash panel location that is easy to reach but not in a spot that takes constant spray or gets stepped on. Seal any exposed core around the cutout to keep water out of the panel.

Route the switch wiring back to the i-Connect Hub with proper support and chafe protection. Keep the run tidy, leave a small service loop, and avoid laying it in the same bundle as high-current conductors where possible.

Use on board

This is a good match for boats running SUPRA underwater lights that want a physical control on the dash for quick power and mode changes, especially when you are coming into a dock after dark or setting up lighting while drifting or at anchor.

With the hub configured for your lights, the momentary control lets you cycle through available colors and effects and make brightness adjustments without needing to go below or open a control module.

Maintenance and care

Wipe the switch and surrounding panel with fresh water after salt exposure, and avoid aggressive solvents that can haze dash plastics. During routine checks, make sure the wiring at the back of the dash is supported and not rubbing on sharp fiberglass edges.
