Overview
The Lumishore 010-04542-00 is an ECLIPSE CL30 RGB courtesy light for 12V DC boats (10 to 15V). It is a small, flush-style light with a 33 mm front bezel and a 23 mm cutout, built for step lighting, toe-kicks, and other low-level accents where you want color-select lighting without a bulky fixture.
This is the RGB version, so color and dimming control are handled through the ECLIPSE Command Center. Power is still a simple 2-wire connection, and current draw is up to 0.1A at 12V, which makes it easy to plan into existing lighting circuits.
The housing is fully sealed with an IP68 rating, so it works well in wet areas and under washdowns, but it is not intended for permanent submersion.
Key features
- 12V DC only operation (10 to 15V DC input range)
- RGB color-select courtesy light with dimming and color control through the ECLIPSE Command Center
- Fully sealed IP68 construction for wet locations and washdowns
- Flush-mount fit with 33 mm bezel and 23 mm hole cutout
- Simple 2-wire hookup (power and ground)
- Up to 0.1A max current draw at 12V for low electrical load planning
- Not intended for permanent submersion, suitable for interior and exterior mounted areas
Installation and fit
Plan for a flat mounting surface and a 23 mm cutout. A snug cutout matters here, so it is common to start slightly undersized and bring the hole up to final size for a tight fit. Use clear marine sealant at the lens-to-surface interface and at the rear hardware to keep water from tracking into the mounting surface.
Before drilling, confirm you have room behind the panel for wiring and access to secure the rear side. If you are installing multiple lights in a run, size wiring so voltage drop stays low all the way to the last light.
Electrical and control
This RGB version requires an ECLIPSE Command Center for control. It is not meant to be connected to third-party lighting control products or dimmers. Protect the circuit with an appropriately sized fuse, isolate vessel power before wiring, and keep connections dry and supported so they do not work loose in vibration.
Use on board
This light fits well in stair treads, cockpit steps, companionway areas, under-gunwale pockets, helm footwells, and inside lockers where you want a soft reference light at night. It is a good match for boats already running an ECLIPSE lighting setup, or builds where centralized RGB control is part of the plan from the start.
Maintenance and care
Rinse salt spray off when you can and wipe the lens with a soft cloth. For cleaning, stick to mild soap and water and avoid chemical cleaners that can haze the lens or damage sealant lines over time.
