Overview
The Lumishore 010-04535-00 is a 2.5 m ECLIPSE SNL100 RGB neon flex light for creating a continuous line of accent lighting on a 12V DC system (10 to 15V DC). It is sealed to an IP68 level for wet areas on board, so it can live under gunwales, in a cockpit coaming, along steps, or in a cabin recess where it may see spray and washdowns.
This style of flex lighting avoids the dotted look of individual LEDs and reads as one smooth strip of color. The profile is about 12.0 mm x 6.1 mm, which helps when you are planning channels, trim gaps, or tight routing spaces. The strip can be cut to length and re-sealed for a clean fit on custom installs.
Key features
- 2.5 m length with cut-to-length installation when you need to tailor runs to the boat.
- RGB output with 120 RGB LEDs per meter for a line of light that stays uniform and dot-free.
- 12V DC only (10 to 15V DC); plan up to 0.5A (6W) per meter for load calculations.
- IP68 sealing for areas that see spray, rain, and routine washdowns.
- Simple 4-wire connection for RGB lighting control systems, with bottom or side cable exit options for cleaner routing.
- Cross-section of approximately 12.0 mm x 6.1 mm for tucking into channels, coves, and trim lines.
Installation and setup
Lay out the run before you cut so you can keep the end termination in a protected spot and leave room for strain relief at the cable. On boats, many lighting issues come from chafe and vibration, so route the lead away from sharp edges and give the cable a supported path back to the controller.
If you shorten the strip, seal the cut end before final mounting so the water seal stays intact. For exterior locations, plan the strip so it is recessed where possible to reduce abrasion and limit direct UV exposure.
Electrical and control integration
This strip is meant for 12V DC only. If your vessel is primarily 24V, it needs a regulated 12V feed or a DC-DC converter sized for the total lighting load. Keep voltage drop in mind on long runs, especially when the controller is mounted far from the lighting zone.
The light uses a 4-wire RGB connection, so it should be paired with the correct RGB controller for your system. Use marine-grade, tinned conductors and sealed connectors wherever the wiring passes into damp lockers or cockpit voids.
Compatibility and fit
Confirm you have a mounting path that can accept the strip's approximate 12.0 mm x 6.1 mm profile and that your intended recess has room for bends without kinking. A quick dry fit along the gunwale liner or headliner route usually tells you if you need a shallow channel, a deeper recess, or additional support points.
Use on board
This is a good match for owners who want a continuous accent line rather than point lighting, and for boats already set up with RGB lighting control. It works well for courtesy lighting along steps, under-seat toe-kicks, coamings, and other edges where you want visibility and ambiance without glare.
Maintenance and care
Rinse the installation area with fresh water after saltwater use and avoid harsh solvents on the flex material. Periodically check that the cut end seal and cable entry remain intact, and re-secure any sections that start to move due to heat cycling or vibration.
Shipping
We ship worldwide from the United States. Rates are calculated at checkout based on destination and package weight. Some items include free shipping, which will show automatically. Not every product is eligible for international shipping; checkout will confirm eligibility. We do not ship to PO Boxes except through USPS, and not all packages qualify.
Processing and dispatch
Most orders are verified, packed, and handed to the carrier within 1 to 2 business days. Some products may need extra handling time or ship directly from the manufacturer. For certain international orders, inventory transfers between warehouses may add time. If any delay is expected, we will let you know the dispatch date.
Delivery and tracking
Deliveries are handled by trusted carriers such as USPS, UPS, FedEx, and DHL. Estimated arrival times appear at checkout and depend on your location and the service you choose. These are estimates and can be affected by customs or carrier disruptions. A shipping confirmation with a tracking link is emailed when your order ships, and tracking may take up to 24 hours to update. You can also view tracking in your account.
Duties, taxes, and support
International customers are responsible for any customs duties, taxes, and fees charged by the destination country. If these charges are refused and a shipment returns to us, the carrier’s return cost and any re-entry customs fees will be deducted from the refund. If your order is late or you need help, contact cs@qualityboatparts.com and we will assist you.
Quality Boat Parts is a reseller. Many items include a manufacturer’s warranty, and all warranty service is handled directly by the manufacturer. We do not manage or administer warranty claims on behalf of customers.
Warranty terms, coverage, and duration are set by each manufacturer. Issues involving defects, repairs, or replacements must be addressed with the manufacturer’s support team. When available, the warranty period is listed on the product page. If it is not shown, contact us or the manufacturer for details before purchasing.
To start a claim, the customer must contact the manufacturer and follow their process. Keep your proof of purchase and original packaging, and register the product if the manufacturer requires it, as these are often needed for warranty service.
