Overview

The Lumishore 010-04530-00 is a two-light underwater lighting kit that pairs EOS TIX404 interchangeable thru-hull LED fixtures with an EOS i-Connect hub and an EOS-LUX Command Center for centralized control.

Each light runs on 10.5 to 31 V DC (12 V and 24 V systems) and throws a 110° beam. The face is 88 mm (3.47 in) with an 8 mm (0.32 in) profile, and the housing uses marine bronze with a borosilicate glass lens for below-the-waterline mounting.

This kit makes sense on boats up to 25 m (80 ft) when you want underwater lighting that can be managed by zone and scene from the helm without adding a pile of separate switches.

Installation and setup

The TIX404 is a thru-hull style light. Plan the location like any other underwater fitting: a flat hull surface, clean access from inside, and enough clearance for the 136 mm (5.35 in) shaft length.

The cable cut-out is 57 mm (2.25 in). Each light has a 3 m (9 ft 9 in) lead, and total cable length can be extended to 6 m (19 ft 6 in) with compatible extension cables, which helps when the helm or distribution area is a long run from the transom.

Control and MFD compatibility

The EOS-LUX Command Center is the brain for the system. It supports Lumi-Link integration with OneHelm-enabled Garmin MFDs, Raymarine Axiom, and a range of Simrad, B&G, Lowrance, and Furuno NavNet TZtouch3 units. The same Command Center can also be used with an optional EOS-LUX-SUPRA display.

Electrical and system planning

Lights, hub, and Command Center all operate on 10.5 to 31 V DC. Each TIX404 light draws up to 5.8 A at 12 V (2.9 A at 24 V), so size your feed, protection, and wiring based on the number of lights and the run length. The hub accepts up to 20 A input and is rated for up to 5 A per light output.

The Command Center draws up to 0.5 A and is typically mounted in a dry locker behind the helm or near other electronics.

Materials and corrosion notes

The light body is marine bronze with a borosilicate glass lens, and a bonding point is provided on the fixture. On saltwater boats, keep the bonding system in good shape and maintain anodes so underwater metals stay protected.

Use cases on board

Common installs are on the transom under the swim platform or on the aft quarters to light up the water behind the boat. The wide beam helps when you want even coverage for evenings at anchor, stern-to dock time, or watching baits while trolling at low speed.
