Overview

The Lumishore 010-04510-00 is a two-light underwater lighting kit that pairs Lumishore EOS SMX154 surface-mount RGBW fixtures with an EOS i-Connect Hub and an EOS-LUX Command Center for helm and Wi-Fi control. Each light outputs 7,000 fixture lumens (white) through a 90° beam and runs on 10.5–31 V DC, making it suitable for both 12V and 24V systems.

The SMX154 housing sits low to the hull, with a 95 mm (3.75 in) face and an 18 mm (0.71 in) profile, and the light body is rated IP68 for continuous wet exposure. Control is handled through the Command Center, which supports zone control, scenes, and integration with compatible MFD platforms, including OneHelm-enabled Garmin displays, so lighting adjustments can live at the helm instead of adding another dedicated keypad.

Installation and setup

This is a surface-mount setup, so you are not cutting a large hole through the hull. Each light mounts using three fasteners and needs a single cable pass-through hole sized at 13.5 mm (17/32 in). The low-profile housing helps when mounting on a transom, a stepped hull, or the hull side where you want the light to sit close and not snag lines or fenders.

The light cable is 3 m (9 ft 9 in) as standard, and the system notes a 6 m (19 ft 6 in) maximum total light-cable run when using extensions. Bonding is not required for the SMX154, but conductive hull materials call for a hull isolation kit so the bronze body is properly isolated from aluminum, steel, or carbon structures.

Electrical and system integration

Power is straightforward DC: the lights and hub operate across 10.5–31 V DC, and the Command Center draws up to 0.5 A. The i-Connect Hub provides plug-and-play connections and individual fused outputs, which helps keep troubleshooting simple if a single light ever needs attention. The network uses Lumi-DMX, and the Command Center handles discovery, addressing, and control so multi-light behavior stays synchronized when you build scenes or run effects.

This kit is a good fit for owners who want full-color underwater lighting that can be controlled from the MFD and by Wi-Fi, with room to expand later without reworking the whole system. Maintenance and care

Rinse the lens area with fresh water after saltwater runs and wipe with a soft cloth to keep output consistent. Avoid abrasive pads or harsh solvents on the glass and seals. During routine checks, look over cable routing, strain relief, and the hub fuses so any issues get caught before they turn into intermittent lighting on the water.
