The Vimar Idea 16403 is a flush-mounted 230 V AC bell for the Idea modular range, with 50 to 60 Hz operation, an 8 VA load, 70 dB sound output, and IP30 protection. It takes one module, so it fits where panel space is limited and an audible signal is still needed.
On board, it makes sense in protected interior spaces where a 230 V AC circuit is already available, such as a cabin entry, utility area, or enclosed service panel. It is not a wireless unit and does not use a built-in battery, so it suits fixed installations where a simple hard-wired bell is the goal.

Variants
This product is offered in two color configurations within the same Idea bell format.
The change across the variants is the housing color. The 230 V AC, 50 to 60 Hz, 8 VA electrical rating, 70 dB sound level, IP30 protection, flush-mounted format, and one-module width stay the same.
- VM16403.B, Color Ivory. This is the lighter finish in the range and keeps the bell visually closer to light trim and faceplates.
- VM16403, Color Gray. This version uses a darker finish and keeps the bell visually closer to gray switchgear and panels.
Compatibility and fit
This bell belongs to the Vimar Idea device family and uses a flush-mounted body that takes one modular spacing. It makes sense for refits or replacements where the vessel already uses Idea frames and inserts, or where a new interior panel is being built around that format.
Installation and use on board
Because it runs on 230 V AC and carries an IP30 rating, it is better suited to enclosed locations away from spray, washdowns, and exposed deck mounting points. It is more appropriate for cabins, protected companionway areas, or interior service spaces where an audible call or attention signal is needed.

Processing and dispatch
Most orders are verified, packed, and handed to the carrier within 1 to 2 business days. Some products may need extra handling time or ship directly from the manufacturer. For certain international orders, inventory transfers between warehouses may add time. If any delay is expected, we will let you know the dispatch date.
Delivery and tracking

Duties, taxes, and support

If these charges are refused and a shipment returns to us, the carrier’s return cost and any re-entry customs fees will be deducted from the refund.
