Overview
The Lumishore 010-04501-00 is a surface-mount underwater LED light that outputs blue light from a compact, low-profile housing. It runs on 12V DC only (10.5 to 15V) and carries an IP68 water-ingress rating for continuous underwater use.
On the outside, the light face is 70 mm (2.75 in) with a 17 mm (0.67 in) profile, which helps when space is tight on a transom or hull side. Light spread is a 90° beam, and the housing uses a marine bronze body with a borosilicate glass lens. It is rated for vessels up to 7.5 m (25 ft).
Key features
- 12V DC only (10.5 to 15V) with max current draw of 2.5A for power planning
- IP68-rated enclosure for underwater mounting
- Marine bronze body with a borosilicate glass lens
- 90° beam angle for a wide light pool off the stern or along the hull side
- 70 mm (2.75 in) face with a 17 mm (0.67 in) profile for tighter mounting areas
- 2 m (6 ft 6 in) cable as standard, with extension possible using proper gauge to control voltage drop
- Simple 2-wire installation for on/off control, with support for ECLIPSE Command Center control (zone control and dimming when connected)
- Isolation kit required when installing on conductive hull materials
Installation and setup
Mount the light on a flat section of transom or hull side where you can reach the inside of the hull for cable routing and sealing. For underwater illumination, placement about 100 to 300 mm (4 to 12 in) below the minimum load waterline keeps the beam in the water without putting the fixture too close to the surface.
The cable gland requires a recessed cut-out: a 13.5 mm (17/32 in) hole cut to a depth of about 15 mm so the light can sit flush. Use a marine sealant such as 3M 4200 or an equivalent, hand-tighten the mounting screws, and avoid power tools so the housing seats evenly. If you are installing three or more lights, even spacing of roughly 2.5 to 3 ft helps keep the light pool consistent.
Electrical and system integration
Plan the cable route before fastening the light and keep all connections waterproof. Each light should be individually fused with a 4A fuse, and wire sizing should follow ABYC guidance for voltage drop of 3% or less on critical circuits. The unit is 12V only, so it should not be tied into 24V systems without an appropriate, correctly sized DC-DC solution.
What’s included
- Surface-mount underwater LED light
- 3 marine bronze mounting screws
Maintenance and care
Check the light body and lens area regularly for marine growth and clean with a soft cloth or a soft bristled brush. Avoid abrasive pads and cleaners that contain solvents, acids, or alkalis. Do not use pressure washing or sandblasting equipment on the fixture.
Shipping
We ship worldwide from the United States. Rates are calculated at checkout based on destination and package weight. Some items include free shipping, which will show automatically. Not every product is eligible for international shipping; checkout will confirm eligibility. We do not ship to PO Boxes except through USPS, and not all packages qualify.
Processing and dispatch
Most orders are verified, packed, and handed to the carrier within 1 to 2 business days. Some products may need extra handling time or ship directly from the manufacturer. For certain international orders, inventory transfers between warehouses may add time. If any delay is expected, we will let you know the dispatch date.

Deliveries are handled by trusted carriers such as USPS, UPS, FedEx, and DHL. Estimated arrival times appear at checkout and depend on your location and the service you choose. These are estimates and can be affected by customs or carrier disruptions. A shipping confirmation with a tracking link is emailed when your order ships, and tracking may take up to 24 hours to update. You can also view tracking in your account.
Duties, taxes, and support
International customers are responsible for any customs duties, taxes, and fees charged by the destination country. If these charges are refused and a shipment returns to us, the carrier’s return cost and any re-entry customs fees will be deducted from the refund. If your order is late or you need help, contact cs@qualityboatparts.com and we will assist you.
Quality Boat Parts is a reseller. Many items include a manufacturer’s warranty, and all warranty service is handled directly by the manufacturer. We do not manage or administer warranty claims on behalf of customers.
Warranty terms, coverage, and duration are set by each manufacturer. Issues involving defects, repairs, or replacements must be addressed with the manufacturer’s support team. When available, the warranty period is listed on the product page. If it is not shown, contact us or the manufacturer for details before purchasing.
To start a claim, the customer must contact the manufacturer and follow their process. Keep your proof of purchase and original packaging, and register the product if the manufacturer requires it, as these are often needed for warranty service.
We are happy to help you find the right contact or documentation, but we cannot decide outcomes or intervene in claim resolutions. For guidance, email cs@qualityboatparts.com.
