Overview
The Raymarine A80464 is the RV-100 RealVision 3D all-in-one transom mount transducer for compatible Raymarine Axiom+ RV, Axiom Pro RVX and RVX-1000 sonar systems.
It combines CHIRP sonar, DownVision, SideVision and RealVision 3D in a single transducer housing, giving boaters a fuller view of bottom structure, cover, fish and bait around the vessel. The RV-100 uses 4-channel Wide Spectrum CHIRP and includes built-in AHRS motion compensation to help stabilize 3D sonar imagery when the boat is moving through waves, swells or turns.
The transducer includes an 8 m (26.2 ft) cable, a fast-response water temperature sensor and waterproof ratings of IPx6, IPx7 and IPx8. It is built for transom installation on outboard-powered motorboats and suits fishing boats, skiffs, flats boats and similar hulls where a stern-mounted transducer is the practical fit.
Key features
- All-in-one RealVision 3D transducer with CHIRP sonar, DownVision, SideVision and RealVision 3D channels in one housing.
- Built-in AHRS helps stabilize 3D sonar images by compensating for vessel motion.
- Fast-response water temperature sensor supports temperature readings at the transom.
- 8 m (26.2 ft) cable gives enough reach for many helm-to-transom installations.
- Sonar range ratings include CHIRP sonar to 274 m (900 ft), DownVision to 183 m (600 ft), SideVision to 91 m (300 ft) and RealVision 3D to 91 m (300 ft).
- IPx6, IPx7 and IPx8 waterproof ratings support use in wet stern locations exposed to spray and washdowns.
- Stainless steel transom bracket includes an integrated kick-up feature to help protect the transducer from impacts with debris, rocks or stumps.
- Optional jack-plate and step-mounting brackets are available for boats where a standard transom position is not the right fit.
Installation and fit
The RV-100 mounts on the transom, where it can keep clean water flow across the transducer face while the boat is underway. Placement matters for sonar performance, so it should be installed away from heavy turbulence, strakes, through-hull fittings and prop wash whenever the hull layout allows.
The included bracket suits a standard transom installation, and the kick-up action is useful on fishing boats that may run near floating debris, shallow structure or ramps. For bass boats, flats boats, skiffs and stepped hulls, optional stainless mounting hardware can move the transducer to a more suitable location without changing the transducer itself.
Compatibility and sonar use
This transducer is intended for Raymarine RealVision sonar systems that use the RV transducer connection, including Axiom+ RV, Axiom Pro RVX and RVX-1000 setups. The 25-pin RealVision connection carries the sonar and temperature data required by the display or sonar module.
On the water, the RV-100 is a strong match for anglers who want side-looking coverage, detailed down-looking images and 3D structure views from one transom-mounted sensor. It is also useful for cruising boats that need a transducer focused on bottom detail and depth awareness rather than only basic depth readings.
Materials and environmental ratings
The transducer housing is plastic, and the mounting bracket is stainless steel for service in a stern location exposed to saltwater spray, vibration and UV. The unit is rated for operation from -2 degrees C to 55 degrees C and storage from -20 degrees C to 70 degrees C.
Its waterproof ratings cover IPx6 on surfaces exterior to the hull, along with IPx7 and IPx8 protection. Cable routing should still be sealed carefully at any transom or cockpit penetrations to keep water out of the boat and to protect the connector from strain.

Quality Boat Parts is a reseller. Many items include a manufacturer’s warranty, and all warranty service is handled directly by the manufacturer. We do not manage or administer warranty claims on behalf of customers.
Warranty terms, coverage, and duration are set by each manufacturer. Issues involving defects, repairs, or replacements must be addressed with the manufacturer’s support team. When available, the warranty period is listed on the product page. If it is not shown, contact us or the manufacturer for details before purchasing.
To start a claim, the customer must contact the manufacturer and follow their process. Keep your proof of purchase and original packaging, and register the product if the manufacturer requires it, as these are often needed for warranty service.
