Overview
The Lumishore 010-04499-00 is a 4 inch flush-fit LED flood light for above-deck work lighting, delivering 1,500 fixture lumens of white light at 5500 K.
It runs on 10.5 to 31 V DC, so it fits typical 12 V and 24 V systems, with a max draw of 1.7 A at 12 V or 0.9 A at 24 V. The housing is powder-coated aluminum with a frosted lens, and it carries an IP68 rating for wet installations and washdowns.
The beam pattern is a 70 to 90 degree oval, which spreads light across the cockpit or foredeck without creating a tight hotspot. Overall size is 12.4 x 4.5 x 4.8 cm, and the light has a 35 cm cable tail, so plan a dry splice point and proper strain relief behind the mounting surface.
Key features
- 1,500 fixture lumens, 5500 K white output for clear deck and cockpit visibility
- Wide 70 to 90 degree oval beam for area lighting on cabin tops, T-tops, arches, transoms, and radar pedestals
- 10.5 to 31 V DC input for 12 V or 24 V boats; max current draw 1.7 A at 12 V, 0.9 A at 24 V
- Flush-mounted form factor with 12.4 x 4.5 x 4.8 cm overall dimensions
- IP68-rated light with powder-coated aluminum body and frosted lens for exposed mounting locations
- Simple two-wire power hookup for basic on and off control; dimming supported with compatible switch or lighting control modules
- Built-in protections including reverse polarity protection and surge protection up to 3,000 V
Installation and setup
Flush mounting starts with a flat, solid surface and enough clearance behind the cutout for the back of the light and cable. Use the cutout template as a starting point, drill the corners first, then cut and file to final fit.
Bed the flange with a marine sealant and tighten fasteners evenly, keeping torque at or below 5 Nm so the housing and gasket seat correctly. Wipe excess sealant with soapy water.
For bracket mounting, the bracket uses an M6 fastener and a separate cable pass-through hole. Keep the cable fixed so it cannot twist, and make the cable entry watertight with an appropriate gland.
Electrical and control integration
For basic operation, connect red to DC positive and black to ground through a properly fused circuit. The yellow lead is not used in a simple on and off setup.
For multi-light installs or control from a compatible MFD, the light can be tied into a LUX Light Control Module or an EOS-LUX Command Center; in those setups the yellow data lead is used for control and dimming.
When using an ECLIPSE Command Center, that controller is for 12 V systems only and operates on 10 to 15 V DC, so it should not be fed from 24 V without proper conversion.
Compatibility and fit
This is an above-water flood light meant for exposed mounting locations where you need broad white light without a protruding fixture. It is a good match for boats that dock and load gear at night, run offshore before sunrise, or need extra cockpit light when working lines.
If you are replacing an existing light, confirm the cutout and footprint against the 12.4 x 4.5 x 4.8 cm body and plan for the 35 cm cable tail and an accessible connection point.
Maintenance and care
Clean the lens and housing with soap and water and a soft cloth. Avoid chemical cleaners and do not power wash the fixture.
Inspect mounting fasteners, sealant, and cable entry points periodically, especially on boats that see heavy spray or frequent washdowns.

Quality Boat Parts is a reseller. Many items include a manufacturer’s warranty, and all warranty service is handled directly by the manufacturer. We do not manage or administer warranty claims on behalf of customers.
Warranty terms, coverage, and duration are set by each manufacturer. Issues involving defects, repairs, or replacements must be addressed with the manufacturer’s support team. When available, the warranty period is listed on the product page. If it is not shown, contact us or the manufacturer for details before purchasing.
To start a claim, the customer must contact the manufacturer and follow their process. Keep your proof of purchase and original packaging, and register the product if the manufacturer requires it, as these are often needed for warranty service.
