Overview
The Lumishore 010-04496-00 is a 2.5 m ECLIPSE Neon Flex SNL100 strip light that switches between blue and white output for clean accent runs in cockpits, cabins, and under-gunwale spaces.
It runs on 12 V DC systems only (10 to 15 V DC) and carries an IP68 rating. The illuminated profile is 12.0 mm x 6.1 mm, which helps when you are tucking it behind trim or along tight radiuses.
This dual-color version uses a 3-wire hookup. With a simple switch you can toggle between blue and white, and when paired with an ECLIPSE Command Center it can also add dimming, zone control, and strobe functions.
Key features
- 2.5 m (98 in) length for continuous linear accent lighting
- Blue and white output with white at 5000 K
- 12 V DC only (10 to 15 V DC); max draw 0.5 A per meter (6 W per meter)
- IP68 ingress protection with fully encapsulated and potted construction for wet installs
- Illuminated cross section 12.0 mm x 6.1 mm; end caps 14.0 mm x 8.0 mm for tight clearances
- Cut to length in 30 mm steps; seal cut ends before installation to keep the strip sealed
- Spot-free diffuser for a continuous line of light without visible LED points
- UV resistant and salt spray tested; suitable for indoor, outdoor, and partially covered areas
Installation and setup
Plan the run before cutting. Lay the strip out straight, offer it up to the mounting path, then cut only at the marked cut points and seal the new end before it goes on the boat.
The strip bends around curves, but it should not be twisted or bent the wrong way. Keep to a minimum bend radius of 120 mm and use extra clips around tighter curves so the light stays seated.
It can be installed in wet areas, but it is not meant to be permanently submerged.
Electrical and control
This version uses a 3-wire connection on a 12 V DC system (10 to 15 V DC). With an on/off/on switch, one position selects blue and the other selects white. Do not energize both color channels at the same time.
Max current draw is 0.5 A per meter (6 W per meter). For a 2.5 m strip, plan for up to about 1.25 A (15 W) when one color is active, and fuse the circuit at the power source based on the full load and wire run length.
When tied into an ECLIPSE Command Center, color switching stays available and dimming, zoning, and strobe behavior can be controlled through the lighting system interface.
Compatibility and fit
The slim illuminated profile helps in tight mounting locations, but the end cap size matters at the cable exit. Leave room for the 14.0 mm x 8.0 mm end cap and route the cable so it is strain relieved and protected from chafe.
The housing is UV resistant, but it still benefits from being placed out of strong direct sun when possible, especially on open decks.
On-board use
Blue light is useful when you want to preserve night vision in the cockpit, while white (5000 K) is better for seeing steps, latches, and gear. The diffuser gives a smooth line of light that works well under gunwales, along toe kicks, under seating, and around hardtop or headliner accents.
This is a good match for 12 V boats that want a low-profile linear accent light with two selectable colors, without moving to full RGB control.
Maintenance and care
Rinse salt and grime off with fresh water and a mild cleaner. Periodically check that clips are secure, the strip is not rubbing on sharp edges, and any cut ends remain fully sealed.

Quality Boat Parts is a reseller. Many items include a manufacturer’s warranty, and all warranty service is handled directly by the manufacturer. We do not manage or administer warranty claims on behalf of customers.
Warranty terms, coverage, and duration are set by each manufacturer. Issues involving defects, repairs, or replacements must be addressed with the manufacturer’s support team. When available, the warranty period is listed on the product page. If it is not shown, contact us or the manufacturer for details before purchasing.
To start a claim, the customer must contact the manufacturer and follow their process. Keep your proof of purchase and original packaging, and register the product if the manufacturer requires it, as these are often needed for warranty service.
