Overview
The Blue Sea Systems 1190 is a 120V AC shore power breaker panel with a 30A double-pole ELCI main and one 15A branch circuit already built in.
It is set up for boats that need whole-boat shore power protection at the panel, with a 30 mA leakage trip level and a red reverse polarity LED to flag wiring problems at the dock connection. The panel also uses backlit labels and ON indicator LEDs, which helps when checking circuits in a cabin or utility space with low light.
Its face size is 4.75 in x 4.88 in, with a depth of 3.99 in, so it fits where panel space is limited but proper AC protection still needs to be brought up to date. This layout suits boats running a straightforward 30A shore power setup with one downstream AC branch circuit.
Key features
- 30A double-pole ELCI main breaker with a 30 mA leakage trip level for whole-boat shore power protection
- One 15A AC branch breaker included for a single downstream circuit
- 120V AC panel configuration for common 30A shore power installations
- Red reverse polarity LED for a quick visual check after connecting to dock power
- Backlit circuit label positions with green illumination and ON indicator LEDs for easier reading at night
- Compact 4.75 in x 4.88 in front footprint with 3.99 in depth
Installation and setup
This panel works best where the shore power main and one outgoing AC branch need to be grouped in one compact location. The 30A ELCI main handles the incoming shore power side, while the 15A branch breaker covers one individual circuit within the boat's AC distribution layout.
Before ordering, check that the boat uses a 120V AC, 30A shore power service and that there is enough clearance behind the mounting surface for breaker bodies and wire routing. The compact format is useful at nav stations, cabin bulkheads, and other panel locations where space is tight.
Compatibility and fit
This panel is a good match for boats with a simple AC system that still need current-sensitive shore power protection at the main panel. It makes sense for refits, replacement of an older compact shore power panel, or new installations where only one branch circuit is required beyond the main.
Because the branch circuit is 15A, it suits installations where that circuit rating matches the connected AC load and the rest of the system design. That can include a receptacle circuit or another light-duty onboard AC circuit, provided the overall installation is sized and wired accordingly.

Quality Boat Parts is a reseller. Many items include a manufacturer’s warranty, and all warranty service is handled directly by the manufacturer. We do not manage or administer warranty claims on behalf of customers.
Warranty terms, coverage, and duration are set by each manufacturer. Issues involving defects, repairs, or replacements must be addressed with the manufacturer’s support team. When available, the warranty period is listed on the product page. If it is not shown, contact us or the manufacturer for details before purchasing.
To start a claim, the customer must contact the manufacturer and follow their process. Keep your proof of purchase and original packaging, and register the product if the manufacturer requires it, as these are often needed for warranty service.
