Overview

The Victron Energy BPP900465070 is a wall mount enclosure for the GX Touch 70 display, giving the 7-inch screen a secure surface-mount installation on a solid wall, bulkhead, or panel area without cutting a dashboard opening.

This mount is useful when the GX Touch 70 needs to sit where it is easy to see and reach, such as at a helm, nav station, electrical locker face, or equipment panel. It keeps the display off the bench and away from loose cabling, while avoiding the extra work that comes with flush cut-outs.

Installation is straightforward: the wall mount fixes in place with three screws, with no drilling or cut-out needed beyond the screw positions. The enclosure is made from marine grade plastic, making it a practical match for onboard monitoring setups where vibration, movement, and repeated access are part of normal use.

Key features
  • Made for the Victron GX Touch 70 display, matching the 7-inch screen format used with Cerbo GX monitoring systems.
  • Allows the GX Touch 70 to be mounted on a solid wall, bulkhead, or flat panel instead of being installed through a dashboard cut-out.
  • Requires only three screws to fix the wall mount in place, which helps keep installation simple on finished helm or cabin surfaces.
  • Marine grade plastic construction suits protected onboard locations where a lightweight enclosure is preferred.
  • Helps position system monitoring where battery, inverter, charger, solar, and tank information can be checked without opening an electrical compartment.
Installation and setup

Before mounting, confirm that the chosen surface is flat, solid, and close enough to the Cerbo GX installation for the GX Touch connection cable to route cleanly. A helm panel, cabin bulkhead, or electrical control area is usually more useful than a hidden service space, because the screen is meant to be checked often.

The mount avoids a large cut-out, but the cable path still needs planning. Leave enough room behind or around the mounting position for the display cable to pass without sharp bends, pinching, or strain. On boats that see regular pounding or vibration, the screws should bite into a backing surface that can hold the display firmly over time.

Compatibility and fit

This wall mount is for the GX Touch 70, not the smaller GX Touch 50. It is an accessory for mounting the display only, so the GX Touch 70 screen and the Cerbo GX system components need to be matched separately if they are not already installed on the vessel.

It fits best in monitoring layouts where the display is part of a Victron electrical system, such as a cruising sailboat, powerboat, fishing boat, or liveaboard setup with batteries, charging sources, inverter or charger equipment, and solar control that benefit from a dedicated onboard screen.

Use on board

The main advantage on a boat is placement flexibility. Instead of committing to a flush-mounted dashboard location, this enclosure lets the GX Touch 70 sit on a bulkhead or panel face where it can be reached while underway or checked at anchor.

For refits, it is a practical way to add a GX Touch 70 display without cutting into an existing helm surface. For new installations, it gives the electrical system display a defined position while keeping the surrounding panel work simpler and easier to service later.

Duties, taxes, and support
International customers are responsible for any customs duties, taxes, and fees charged by the destination country. If your order is late or you need help, contact cs@qualityboatparts.com and we will assist you.

Quality Boat Parts is a reseller. Many items include a manufacturer’s warranty, and all warranty service is handled directly by the manufacturer. We do not manage or administer warranty claims on behalf of customers.

Warranty terms, coverage, and duration are set by each manufacturer. Issues involving defects, repairs, or replacements must be addressed with the manufacturer’s support team. When available, the warranty period is listed on the product page. If it is not shown, contact us or the manufacturer for details before purchasing.

To start a claim, the customer must contact the manufacturer and follow their process. Keep your proof of purchase and original packaging, and register the product if the manufacturer requires it, as these are often needed for warranty service.

We are happy to help you find the right contact or documentation, but we cannot decide outcomes or intervene in claim resolutions. For guidance, email cs@qualityboatparts.com.
