Overview
The Lumishore 010-04478-00 is a blue ECLIPSE SL100 LED strip light in a 2.5 m (98 in) length for 12V DC systems (10 to 15V). It uses 60 blue LEDs per meter and carries an IP68 rating for wet installations where the strip may see spray or washdowns.
This strip is used for indirect accent lighting along gunwales, under seating, behind toe-kicks, inside lockers, or under cabinet edges. The strip is fully sealed and potted and is suited to outdoor, partially covered, and indoor mounting locations, but it is not intended to be permanently submerged.
For load planning, the maximum draw is 0.5A per meter (6W/m). At full 2.5 m length, plan for up to 1.25A on a 12V circuit.
Key features
- 2.5 m (98 in) blue strip in the ECLIPSE SL100 form factor
- 12V DC only (10 to 15V) with simple 2-wire connection
- 60 blue LEDs per meter; max draw 0.5A per meter (6W/m)
- IP68-rated, fully encapsulated and potted construction; UV resistant and salt spray tested
- Can be cut to length in 50 mm steps and sealed after trimming
- Adhesive backing for mounting; screw clips can be added in wet areas or outdoor runs
- Minimum 50 mm (1.97 in) vertical bend radius; do not twist or bend on the horizontal axis
- Supports on/off switching and can be used with an ECLIPSE Command Center for dimming and zone control
Installation and setup
Lay out the run before sticking anything down, especially around corners and transitions. The strip is meant to bend in the vertical axis with a minimum 50 mm (1.97 in) radius, so tight turns are typically handled by routing the mounting path rather than twisting the strip.
For adhesive mounting, clean the surface with IPA so it is free of dust and oils, press the strip firmly in place, and let the adhesive set for 24 hours before powering up. In outdoor locations, wet areas, or where the strip is under tension, add mechanical fasteners spaced about 250 to 300 mm (9.8 to 11.8 in) apart and on both sides of bends.
If you need to shorten the strip, cut only at the marked cut points (50 mm steps) and seal the cut end before installation so the assembly stays watertight.
Electrical and control
This strip is for 12V DC boats only and operates from 10 to 15V DC. Feed it from a fused supply sized for the total run length and keep splices and connections out of bilge water and splash paths whenever possible.
Basic control can be simple on/off switching. When tied into an ECLIPSE Command Center system, the strip can be dimmed and grouped into zones so you can manage lighting areas around the boat.
Compatibility and fit
The strip cross section is 10.8 mm x 4.0 mm (0.425 in x 0.157 in), which helps when planning channels, trim slots, or hidden mounting under overhangs. It is a good match for boats that want a low-profile blue accent line along steps, cockpit seating, toe-kicks, or under-cap rails on a 12V system.
Maintenance and care
Rinse with fresh water after heavy salt exposure and wipe with a soft cloth. Avoid chemical cleaners around the strip and end caps, and check that sealed ends and any added fasteners remain intact during routine service.
Shipping
We ship worldwide from the United States. Rates are calculated at checkout based on destination and package weight. Some items include free shipping, which will show automatically. Not every product is eligible for international shipping; checkout will confirm eligibility. We do not ship to PO Boxes except through USPS, and not all packages qualify.
Processing and dispatch
Most orders are verified, packed, and handed to the carrier within 1 to 2 business days. Some products may need extra handling time or ship directly from the manufacturer. For certain international orders, inventory transfers between warehouses may add time. If any delay is expected, we will let you know the dispatch date.
Delivery and tracking
Deliveries are handled by trusted carriers such as USPS, UPS, FedEx, and DHL. Estimated arrival times appear at checkout and depend on your location and the service you choose. These are estimates and can be affected by customs or carrier disruptions. A shipping confirmation with a tracking link is emailed when your order ships, and tracking may take up to 24 hours to update. You can also view tracking in your account.
Duties, taxes, and support
International customers are responsible for any customs duties, taxes, and fees charged by the destination country. If these charges are refused and a shipment returns to us, the carrier’s return cost and any re-entry customs fees will be deducted from the refund. If your order is late or you need help, contact cs@qualityboatparts.com and we will assist you.
Quality Boat Parts is a reseller. Many items include a manufacturer’s warranty, and all warranty service is handled directly by the manufacturer. We do not manage or administer warranty claims on behalf of customers.
Warranty terms, coverage, and duration are set by each manufacturer. Issues involving defects, repairs, or replacements must be addressed with the manufacturer’s support team. When available, the warranty period is listed on the product page. If it is not shown, contact us or the manufacturer for details before purchasing.
To start a claim, the customer must contact the manufacturer and follow their process. Keep your proof of purchase and original packaging, and register the product if the manufacturer requires it, as these are often needed for warranty service.
We are happy to help you find the right contact or documentation, but we cannot decide outcomes or intervene in claim resolutions. For guidance, email cs@qualityboatparts.com.
