Overview
The Lumishore 010-04473-00 is a recessed ECLIPSE DL55 LED downlight with a white bezel that fits a 50.8 mm (2 in) cutout and runs on 12V DC systems (10 to 15V DC).
It is IP67 rated and fully sealed for wet areas on board, but it is not meant to be permanently submerged. The bezel measures 64.0 mm (2.519 in) across, and the installed profile sits about 3.5 mm (0.137 in) proud of the surface, which helps it look clean in headliners and hardtops.
This is a good match for boaters who want overhead lighting that stays neutral white at 5000 K in cabins, saloons, heads, companionways, and covered cockpits, without needing much mounting depth behind the panel.
Key features
- 12V DC only (10 to 15V DC operating range) with up to 0.4A current draw
- IP67 sealed housing for washdowns and wet locations (not for permanent submersion)
- Requires a 50.8 mm (2 in) hole cutout; shallow body depth of about 21.2 mm (0.834 in)
- 64.0 mm (2.519 in) bezel diameter with a low installed profile around 3.5 mm (0.137 in)
- White output at 5000 K using 2 x 3W white LEDs
- Simple 2 wire hookup and can be controlled by a standard on/off switch or an ECLIPSE Command Center
- Stainless steel spring clips for mechanical fastening in interior installations
Installation and fit
Plan the mounting spot on a flat surface, not a curved panel. The light fits through a 2 in hole, and leaving at least 30 mm (1.18 in) of clearance behind the mounting surface helps with the body and wiring. For interior headliners and panels, the spring clips hold the light in place once it is pushed into the cutout.
For exterior overheads and wet areas, fixing the light in place with a suitable marine sealant or adhesive is commonly used. Keep the bezel seated evenly so the seal stays consistent around the opening.
Electrical and control
Wiring is a straightforward two conductor run with red to positive and black to ground, protected by a fuse sized for the circuit. Typical power is about 4 watts per light with current draw around 0.33A at 12V, and it can draw up to 0.4A.
On single color installations, switching power can also be used for basic dim behavior, and turning the switch off for about 2 seconds resets the light back to full output. For multi zone control and grouping, it can also be integrated with an ECLIPSE Command Center.
Materials and sealing
The light uses an aluminium body with a glass front and a fully sealed build intended for marine spray, vibration, and regular cleaning. Stainless steel spring clips help with corrosion resistance where the fixture contacts the mounting surface.
Maintenance and care
Wipe the bezel and lens with a soft cloth using mild soap and water. Avoid chemical cleaners so the lens, seal, and finish stay in good shape over time.

Quality Boat Parts is a reseller. Many items include a manufacturer’s warranty, and all warranty service is handled directly by the manufacturer. We do not manage or administer warranty claims on behalf of customers.
Warranty terms, coverage, and duration are set by each manufacturer. Issues involving defects, repairs, or replacements must be addressed with the manufacturer’s support team. When available, the warranty period is listed on the product page. If it is not shown, contact us or the manufacturer for details before purchasing.
To start a claim, the customer must contact the manufacturer and follow their process. Keep your proof of purchase and original packaging, and register the product if the manufacturer requires it, as these are often needed for warranty service.
