Overview
The Lumishore 010-04468-00 is a flush-mount LED courtesy light that adds blue step lighting in places like companionways, cockpits, and helm footrests without throwing glare across the deck. It runs on 12V DC systems only (10 to 15V DC) and draws up to 0.1A, so it is easy to add to an existing lighting circuit.
The light uses 3 x 0.5W blue LEDs and produces about 45 fixture lumens. The bezel is 33mm (1.3 in) across with a 30mm (1.18 in) mounting depth, and it is fully sealed for indoor spaces and outdoor wet areas, but it is not meant to be permanently submerged.
Key features
- Blue single-color courtesy light output (3 x 0.5W LEDs, about 45 fixture lumens).
- 12V DC only operation (10 to 15V DC) with up to 0.1A draw.
- Two-wire hookup with an internal driver, plus protection for common onboard electrical faults (reverse polarity, low-voltage, surge).
- Flush bulkhead or panel mounting with a 33mm (1.3 in) bezel and 30mm (1.18 in) depth behind the panel.
- Designed around a nominal 1 in bulkhead cutout (about 22.5 to 23mm) for an easy retrofit.
- Suitable for indoor spaces and outdoor wet areas; not intended for permanent submersion.
- Works with a simple On/Off switch or with an ECLIPSE Command Center for dimming and zone control.
- Ignition protected to ISO 8846 for use around gasoline fumes when installed correctly.
Installation and setup
Mount on a flat surface so the lens seals evenly. A snug mechanical fit matters, so cutting slightly undersize and filing to final size helps the retaining hardware seat properly behind the panel.
Use clear marine sealant between the lens and the mounting surface, and between the retaining nut and the back of the panel. Wire red to a fused positive feed and black to DC negative. When stringing multiple lights, size the cable to keep voltage drop under 3% to the last light.
Control options
On a basic switch circuit, the light can be dimmed by toggling the switch. Turning the switch off for about 2 seconds resets it back to full output the next time it is powered.
With an ECLIPSE Command Center, the light can be grouped into zones for on/off and dimming control from compatible interfaces. It should not be connected to third-party lighting controllers or dimmers.
Use cases on board
This style of blue courtesy lighting is commonly used to mark steps, toe-kicks, and passageways where preserving night vision matters on night runs. The low current draw also makes it practical for leaving on while boarding at the dock or moving around at anchor.
Maintenance and care
Rinse with fresh water after washdowns and clean with mild soap and water. Avoid chemical cleaners on the lens and around the seal areas.
Shipping
We ship worldwide from the United States. Rates are calculated at checkout based on destination and package weight. Some items include free shipping, which will show automatically. Not every product is eligible for international shipping; checkout will confirm eligibility. We do not ship to PO Boxes except through USPS, and not all packages qualify.
Processing and dispatch
Most orders are verified, packed, and handed to the carrier within 1 to 2 business days. Some products may need extra handling time or ship directly from the manufacturer. For certain international orders, inventory transfers between warehouses may add time. If any delay is expected, we will let you know the dispatch date.
Delivery and tracking
Deliveries are handled by trusted carriers such as USPS, UPS, FedEx, and DHL. Estimated arrival times appear at checkout and depend on your location and the service you choose. These are estimates and can be affected by customs or carrier disruptions. A shipping confirmation with a tracking link is emailed when your order ships, and tracking may take up to 24 hours to update. You can also view tracking in your account.
Duties, taxes, and support
International customers are responsible for any customs duties, taxes, and fees charged by the destination country. If these charges are refused and a shipment returns to us, the carrier’s return cost and any re-entry customs fees will be deducted from the refund. If your order is late or you need help, contact cs@qualityboatparts.com and we will assist you.
Quality Boat Parts is a reseller. Many items include a manufacturer’s warranty, and all warranty service is handled directly by the manufacturer. We do not manage or administer warranty claims on behalf of customers.
Warranty terms, coverage, and duration are set by each manufacturer. Issues involving defects, repairs, or replacements must be addressed with the manufacturer’s support team. When available, the warranty period is listed on the product page. If it is not shown, contact us or the manufacturer for details before purchasing.
To start a claim, the customer must contact the manufacturer and follow their process. Keep your proof of purchase and original packaging, and register the product if the manufacturer requires it, as these are often needed for warranty service.
We are happy to help you find the right contact or documentation, but we cannot decide outcomes or intervene in claim resolutions. For guidance, email cs@qualityboatparts.com.
